Great News About Cayless.

At 29 he is still got some good years left if managed correctly.

No need to kill ourselves to get Jeff Lima as the team has a good mix of Experiance and youth.

There is nothing worse than letting a promising Junior move on to make his mark ar a rival club.

Looks like this time Skando will be saying goodbye - Truly a Club Great

Finally - Look out Bryce gibbs - More of the same should see you being offloaded to England

Gibbs isn't going anywhere and had a much improved 2009, especially in the go forward department.

Agreed, Gibbsy did improve dramatically this year and we certainly missed him against the TItans. Just needs to stamp out the cheap penalties and he can still be anything.

Im just wondering with all the forwards New Zealand Kiwis have had injured over the past couple of years how is it that Cayless hasnt been selected to play in any of their matches?

Have faith fellow cubs, princey came here with a dodgy medical history and ended up playing every single game possible for us. Lets hope Cayless does the same, with just as much impact to boot.

Cayless should be fresh next year and ready to go. Will be good to see him back in the nrl and hopefully he has a good run with injuries.

I'll tell ya one thing,we have one hellof a front row next year with plenty of grunt about it.

Cayless/Farah/Galloway….....woooooooot,woooooooot!!!

probably last until round 10 and then retire.

Great to see the positive fans flocking onto here.

Some people aren't happy unless they have something to complain about.

You've only just noticed…......its pandemic on here.

if i'm considered a complainer then god help this place.

signing a 30 year old that hasn't played since april because of shoulder and knee complaints does not excite me.

if you think that is great, then good for you.

I,m a bit the same way… Re his injurys! but we definatly needed go forward and you never know if he is managed properly who nows it could be a great signing .. excited not really .
Having a big front rower on the books makes sence with fingers crossed.

I thought it was only SOUTHS that signed up washed up old players.

Will be a great buy if handled correctly, and iam sure he will be. Its all about depth and rotation. Sheens must now use his depth to get the best out of his players and pick players who are in form and drop those who are not and of course he may now have the luxury of being able to rest injured players. Theirs a fine line between loyalty and stupidity

I understand those who are worried about his injuries, its very valid. But considering our need for a front rower and the fact there's very little out there, i think its well worth the risk, especially when u consider this guy when fully fit is among the best front rowers of the modern game.

were you in a coma in 2006???

Like Bon, I'm not overly excited about Cayless but I'll reserve my judgement till next year. The thing is, if we didn't sign him then people would be jumping up and down because we didn't sign him when we had the chance. This is definitely one of those no win situations for the club.
