Jason Cayless

If he grows his hair back, he and Galloway (with the 'Galloway stare') will be the scariest LOOKING pair of props in the NRL, if nothing else.

Does this spell the end for Toddy Payton?

In the Front Row, probably yes.
We'll prob see more of Payten at lock or 2nd Row.
Payten is a ball playing forward and I think he's suited at the back of the pack.

Great news about Cayless! Another Kiwi!!! w00t! :sign:

Cayless is a beast him and KG up front is gonna put fear into other packs that we have NEVER had, now if shens will play gibbs and payten off the bench as our reserve props then we ill be able to compete with the big packs in the league.

Not to sound negative, but this guy has barely played in 2 years as a result of shoulder & medial ligament injuries. Very serious injuries in my books.

Just hope he doesn't become another Ryan O'Hara.

Kind of expected more in a marquee signing.

scott prince, brett hodgson and pat richards were apparently all damaged goods before coming to the club.
granted they were all younger but props peak later in their careers.. look at skando he was injured last year and was able to ease his way back into first grade and i dare say was in much better form then before he left.
a change of sceneary and warmer weather could do cayless wonders..
until he takes the field we won't know

Exactly. We always seem to sign players with Big question marks over them.

For once, I would like to see the club sign a star player with no baggage, no excess mileage & no injury proneness. Just once.

I said this to her when she first brought it to my attention "dont p.iss on my face and tell me its raining" but she assured me that she wasnt, i just laughed at the tele's spculation about brisbane though, it really shows that they more guess whats goin on then have good info most the time

I hope we get them all, I have been telling everyone who will listen that we were close to signing them. It would be nice for the tigers to come from a position of strength at the start of the season for a change. Come on boys sign on the dotted line.

Did you happen to notice that we signed Gareth Ellis, almost certainly one of the top three second rowers in the game with no baggage, no excess mileage and no injury proneness????

Did anyone happen to notice that the imbecile quoted above is the bloke who also wanted to see us buy WILLIE MASON!!?????!! Anyone who knows league knows that Mason is a dog on the field and a tumour off it!!!

The word moron comes to mind!!

jasetiger is another one who wants us to buy the likes of Inglis - Slater & Lockyer w/out being financially restrained by the recruitment & retention of good forwards!

PS - anyone who says "my bad" needs to check their birth certificate - & if born after 2000 you're okay - if not put your head in a ******* incinerator (strictly for the view)!!!!

Great signing, well done to all involved, hope Lima comes on board too, then our pack will really shine, not too fussed on Lote,if I had to pick between him and Lima, then I take Lima.

Killer news. Finally we have a prop signing and a little depth to our front row stocks for once.
I think Lima won't be heading to Tigertown, but one prop is better than none any day. Hope I'm wrong though.

Should be a good signing now hopefully we can get lima back to the Tigers. If we do i will be one very happy supporter.
