Holding the coach accountable for his poor performance? Now why would you do that when we can blame the players and everyone else except Taylor!

Keep the hate going - it's been going all season.

You do realise that if JT and Farah both go - you'll have nothing to post about.

On the contrary, I am looking forward to when we have coach who can showcase the talent we have in the squad. Our current coach can't and won't take responsibility for his failures.

Sheens and Potter were unable..Who do you suggest will..?

Conduct interviews based on merit for the role. That would be refreshing and there will be not shortage of applicants. We have one of the best young rosters in the NRL despite what the JT fan boys write. I am sure you didn't mean to place Sheens in the same category as Taylor.

Sheens missed the finals 7 times in 10 seasons. If it wasn't for our great run at the back end of 05 it would have been even less because he would have been gone by 2007\. So far though JT is on par with him as Sheens missed the finals the first two years of his tenure too.

GNR, just refresh my memory and remind me how many premierships Sheens won as a coach? How many has your messiah won? Finally, how many times was Sheens whacked by one of his players for being a f…wit?

Facts are this year some teams fell off the cliff - Roosters, Souths, Manly.

2 Teams did not participate - Newcastle and Parramatta.

We had a decent run with injuries and a good enough side to make The Top 8 (Top 9 this year)

However we are still going to miss out.

The Fact JT and the boys could not do it is a worry for mine. It wasn't a bad season by any means however missing the Finals in a comp where 14 teams participated should not be seen as a success.

Next year I am sure some teams are not going to have the shockers they had this year.

I guess that's why the thread is titled Jason Taylor disappointed & not Jason Taylor success .

Just sayin …

Well he's only 23 so yes, i'm very confident it will be realised. Thanks for asking.

At that age, and nearly 70 first grade games, most players potential has been realised. Instead he's languishing in reserve grade and had no takers when told he was free to negotiate with other clubs.

In fairness he's getting terrible service from the reserve grade dummy half.

I was really proud of you for making a post without mentioning Farah. Unfortunately you couldn't push that streak to two. Good try though champ.

Is hard to leave him out when your talking about big name reserve graders.

Very non-comital there Paws not surprised…

I was referring from 2012 onwards...the pundits had Wests Tigers installed as Premiership favourites at the beginning of that season on the back of 2 past Top 4 finishes ...

Sheens was the best Coach Wests Tigers have had but even with his greatness we failed more often than we succeeded....

The only 3 Coaches that have consistent results are Bellemy Hasler and Bennett and I cant see any of them coming to the Wests Tigers....

Taylor may not see out his tenure at least he has tried to address some of the issues that have plagued the Wests Tigers ...

I hope you are correct and the next Coach will benefit from our young and exciting Roster...

I didn't name names because the issue is not about whether a suitable coach is available, it is about Taylor. The fan boys pull that chestnut out every time and it is not relevant.

Isn't that what happened last time? Griffin, Walters, Taylor and Potter were all interviewed weren't they?

Thanks. I thought the interview idea sounded familiar.

Sounds refreshing

Yes. What happened to this thread? It's kind of stopped….

And to think Anthony Griffin could have been coaching the WTs. But then again we have the outstanding defensive structures of the fan boy's beloved. Refreshing to finish out of the 8 (again) 2 years in a row. Moving forward indeed!

The Panther's and the appointment process for Anthony Griffin. Did we ring Souths for a reference check?

People have been bagging Griffin however he has had the last laugh.

Got rid of Segayaro, Soward and has his team firing on all cylinders at the right team of year.

I think they have a better squad then us though, so he should be doing better.

Griffin dropped the panthers first grade hooker & put a halfback into #9 but he's a genius

Griffin said it had nothing to do with that photo & dropping the 2014 dally m hooker of the year was on form . Apparently that's what coaches do .
