Jason Taylor isn't signed for next year...

We currently have no coach for next year, Taylor was signed for two years, the third year was in the clubs option or automatically enforced if we made the top 8.

In that case there will be no Christmas for Jason maybe he wanted to share the spirit.

This the first I've heard of this, God I hope this true? I just want an end to this misery..

Even if we free up some cap space for 2017 who the hell would want to play for a Tigers team coached by JT.. that is besides persons at the end of their careers looking for s golden nest egg..

Yes but we will still be stuck with Farah - and no ET and either Brooks or Moses gone the year after. Sure looks like a win to me.

You just made my night. And how convenient of JT to sabotage himself and cause all this chaos. I really think this is so personal that JT is like if im not going to be here next year then neither will you(farah).

On fire tonight Milkster…

Got a Link for this...?

Nah mate was at the game today with my Uncle, we were talking to a former player and then the conversation turned into Farah/Taylor. He wasn't impressed with Taylor, said some players like him but wouldn't be disappointed if he left…Woods is close with both and conducts himself professionally, also stated that Taylor was only contracted if he made the 8.

News to me, as my recollection from the Chair and then CEO was a three year contract, but would expect performance clauses.

How embarrassing. The club is backing the bloke that doesn't have a contract with them.
Lol sobbie

My theory of a double play to get rid of Farah and Taylor by Pascoe and Oneil doesnt seem so crazy after all.

Considering how terrible Mayer was at negotiating anything I doubt there is an outright option in the club's favour. Something like that would ordinarily have been announced at the time of the signing too. I can believe that there are performance clauses in the contract though and that if the team doesn't hit certain milestones this season it will trigger an option to terminate.

Taylor signed a three-year deal to replace Mick Potter…
