Taylor signed a three-year deal to replace Mick Potter…

Don't believe what you read in the papers mate .
Unless it's from the club it's not valid !

Taylor signed a three-year deal to replace Mick Potter…

He must have to reach the top 8 or can be sacked.

I was told

"He'll only be here if he somehow manages to make the 8"

Maybe TT can provide some insight if he is reading…im as keen as all of you..

Who was the former player Milky? I'm not doubting you were told this.

This makes sense if true. Taylor really is a dead man walking and Farah is the perfect scapegoat. Coward

He signed for three years but had contract milestones to achieve, but I doubt these will be envoked, who the hell would want the job if he goes!

Thanks mate…

Cleary has a job with the NRL at the moment so he wouldn't be too keen i reckon

News to me, as my recollection from the Chair and then CEO was a three year contract, but would expect performance clauses.

Considering how terrible Mayer was at negotiating anything I doubt there is an outright option in the club's favour. Something like that would ordinarily have been announced at the time of the signing too. I can believe that there are performance clauses in the contract though and that if the team doesn't hit certain milestones this season it will trigger an option to terminate.

I'd be surprised if we can punt him. If we can though it's a no brainer decision.

I hope Milky is right but I doubt it.

If correct it surely puts some light on the boards distancing itself from RF non selection,JT is their patsy,if it works, RF leaves,if it doesn't the scarecrow cops the blame.

Exactly the opposite and about as far from cowardly as one can act for mine. After last year, Taylor (and those above him that agree with the decision for whatever motive) knew how much crap was going to hit the fan, yet still went ahead with his demotion.

Wests Tigers CEO Justin Pascoe does not want Farah they next year so Farah wont be there its not just Taylor its the same as Luke Lewis at Penrith Farah wont be there

Because they want Farah gone :roll :roll :roll

lol because JT has been so much worse than Potter, Sheens, Lamb and Pearce. Robbie played worse under Potter than he has for Taylor. And who, aside from Cleary (who has a job atm) would replace him? Matt Parish? Kevin Walters? Todd Payten? No one of note out there aside from Toovey imo

mmhhh!!! I'm wondering why Tedesco, Brooks And Moses are waiting to see who will be there next Coach before agreeing there next deal.

Everything will come out in the end.

Taylor isn't signed for next year but he has ransacked the hooker position like no one else in league history. He's handed the role to anyone to try and prove a point but won't be man enough to use the player best for the role and the player who's been contracted to do so. It's not like our hooker has poor form he is the nsw hooker and a 100% competitor. The contract is binding the player bleeds tigers and the coach is making decisions that leaves people dumbfounded. Once again taylor pack your bags and be gone.
