Jason Taylor isn't signed for next year...

Taylor isn't signed for next year but he has ransacked the hooker position like no one else in league history. He's handed the role to anyone to try and prove a point but won't be man enough to use the player best for the role and the player who's been contracted to do so. It's not like our hooker has poor form he is the nsw hooker and a 100% competitor. The contract is binding the player bleeds tigers and the coach is making decisions that leaves people dumbfounded. Once again taylor pack your bags and be gone.

How many usernames do you have Robbie?

Yes but we will still be stuck with Farah - and no ET and either Brooks or Moses gone the year after. Sure looks like a win to me.

Don't worry.. Ivan will sort out our playing roster..

The way our club conducts itself I was under the impression that somebody named IVA No-idea must of been running the joint anyway. Shambles of a place…..

I'm not sure if this is the correct thread to use because the one to do with the Farah demotion was taken down. I finally watched the Taylor interview and I was struck by two things; 1\. Taylor's surprising confidence and fluency when clearly under fire. He was articulate and much of what he said made sense. The question is - is there really as much of an issue with cohesion or too many playmakers as he makes out or, although he denied it, are the two halves speaking out against Farah? 2\. His comment about selections being based on what is best for the team and not individual milestones was sensible. 3\. His statement that players need to understand that there are consequences for unsatisfactory performance did not ring true and was the only mistake he made. This is because this season's selections have been dogged by a refusal by him to drop players who clearly were not performing. This is why we all have to think that the sacking is more about the personal feud than anything else. The fact that Taylor decided to go with a squad that lacks any specialist hooker backs this up. Farah clearly needs to be put in his place but have we ended up with the best team available to win?

And who will coach us next year then? Don't worry I'm sure we'll get a Craig Bellamy mk.2 :unamused: Or start from scratch with a bargain bin buy and put our premiership hopes on the back burner for the next decade.. Again..

mmhhh!!! I'm wondering why Tedesco, Brooks And Moses are waiting to see who will be there next Coach before agreeing there next deal.

Everything will come out in the end.

JT won't be the issue for them. He has handed the keys to the team to Brooks and Moses and taken all the heat.

Great point Gary. And it's completely plausible. You would hope this is one of the reasons why this happened, these 3 telling JT they feel they play better without him. Taylor has obviously listened if that's the case which would only strengthen the relationship.

But if it's not true, it's still JT installing faith into the 1,6 and 7 like he's done for over 18 months by persisting with the 6 and 7 despite the outcry for them to be dropped for the majority of Taylor's tenure.

As for everything coming out in the end. I've heard the same phrase used to describe Farah and his actions.

Its just a shame GNR that Taylor has always had criticism for everything he does, whether right or wrong in many peoples eyes…I really think he is trying to develops a team for the future and many hard decisions have to be made,he has been called many things and the " get rid of JT " cries never seem to stop,I honestly hope the young guys thrash the Dragons today without Farah there and play a very controlled and disciplined game...

Wests Tigers CEO Justin Pascoe does not want Farah they next year so Farah wont be there its not just Taylor its the same as Luke Lewis at Penrith Farah wont be there

Seeing as you seem so tight with Pascoe, can you inform us all how he intends to achieve this?

Really?
All this time that JT has been our coach I have read and heard that he has a 3 year contract. Now, in the middle of the latest bru-ha-ha someone says, that someone said?

I'll take a wild guess and say that JT will be our coach next year. Top 8 or not this year.

I am also astounded about the rush of naysayers.
As supporters I think we get what we deserve, to be quite honest.

I have sat on the fence about all of this stuff since JT began. It was only yesterday that I made a decision oh how I feel. All this week I thought how refreshing that Robbie has been silent about his demotion and just got on with things without making it into a circus. I actually kept up with game against Newtown on Twitter to see how he played. There was an iphone video after the game showing Robbie signing autographs and people patting him on the back. This is how it should be, not any public spite.

Then I saw Ayoub in the middle of it on the field and I thought "uh oh".

Not long after came the headlines "Robbie gives Taylor both barrels". The after game was all a pre-planned strategy by Robbie and Ayoub.

Nothing has changed at all.

I fully support the coach now.
He picked the team for this game and every squad player must support it. I know players disagree with some selection decisions but that's life.

Win or lose this afternoon, I fully support JT and will do for the rest of this year and in 2017.

Our clubs Managment over the past few years have just not stood up and made the right choices on the way they do buisness , Footy is now only a Buisness
Farrah if they wanted him gone should have been paid out end of storey , and if he was picked up they could have stipulated that if the dragons or another club give you $ 200 k they give it to us as we paid you out in full ,this way we know what we have left to spend if he has no team and we would not be sitting here saying Farrah stays ET goes , we would have known what position we would be in , the coach should have been signed for 3 years with KPI in place
Year 1 , clean the team out and grab who you can to replace them , be competative , competative doesn't mean must have 10 wins although you could put a number of wins required in a KPI mine would have been 10 out of 26
Year 2 , top 8 and into the semi finals and you stay for year 3 , if not you are gone
We are holding our breath today to see if we can beat the Dragons and I hope we do , Farrah after his dumping should stay in the lower grade and give Taylor his request to play it as he sees it , this way after 3 games we know if we are still a chance at the 8 or not , if we are loosing games well Taylor can be moved on , bring in a new coach before season end and let him start his team ideas ,new coach may leave Farrah out but he may not he may move another player out bring Farrah in , it's time to end the Crap , this can't keep going , $ 900 k for a reserve grader is just Wrong , time will tell , but time can also make this mess a lot bigger

i dont know which is worse
A coach who cant coach or the one who doesnt get along with players

I know Cleary is favoured here to replace JT but i'd prefer Toovey if he is a runner for the role

We came very close to signing Bellamy before he signed with the Storm. Was pretty much a done deal only his missus vetoed the idea, would have meant moving the kids and changing schools in their final years.

lol because JT has been so much worse than Potter, Sheens, Lamb and Pearce. Robbie played worse under Potter than he has for Taylor. And who, aside from Cleary (who has a job atm) would replace him? Matt Parish? Kevin Walters? Todd Payten? No one of note out there aside from Toovey imo

I think Taylor has been considerably worse than all those coaches excluding Lamb.

Yep, I'd like Toovey too. I like his passionate, no nonsense approach.
