Jason Taylor ...THREAD...

Ridiculous. Last week the team was hailed as courageous and tough and one performance later, Taylor should be sacked.

With some luck, this is the trigger Taylor needs to punt Farah and one or two others. Have not won a game since Farah's return. I don't care how many tackles Farah makes, he is a soft tackler now and teams bend our defensive line by running at him. Milone will also go for Simona.

Mate grow up.

Farah isn't the problem. Only a moron with an axe to grind would believe such drivel.

He made 40 tackles tonight, 10 more than anyone else in our side.

He isn't to blame for other players not talking to each other in the defensive line, or for others rushing up out of the line and not making tackles etc.

I wish simpletons like yourself would stop trying to blame Farah for everything when the team goes through a rough patch. Its childish and entirely misinformed drivel.

It's all Farahs fault is it?

Anyway….I guess I am a "Farah hater".

Recognising you have a problem is the first step toward rehabilitation

Thanks - can't wait to be rehabilitated, not be able to think for myself and blindly believe no one is better than Farah.

Stop being a petulant moron.

It's got nothing to do with Farah being better than everyone else.

Its about recognising that he isn't the problem.

Taylor must sacked immediately. Players have no confidence in him.
If available give Todd Payten the job for the rest of the season. Avoiding the wooden spoon will be his goal.

I'm not sure where we go from here but Taylor must be close to getting the chop , but the team also has to take some sort of blame , today was an absolute mess , no idea how to handle the other team , coaches problem , no heart team player problem , I'm not sure but if the wests Tigers board keep going and the CEO the path we are on this team will finish last ,how to fix this may be a huge clean out , we have clean out before but really it's not worked , I would if I had the power to do the clean out
Punt Taylor , replace with Ivan or Geoff
Milone , gone not up to it
Sirro , back a grade , need to earn his spot , can't kill him off yet
Brooks , back a grade , don't like it , leave
Jordan grant , step.up,have a crack
ET to be sined tomorrow from the panthers
Brooke's goes , step up our next option
This list, could go on and on , I'm not a footy coach but gee , I can't handle what's going on at present
Ther must be a change after tonight , and nobody should say we missed Woods , they didn't have our gun player who we let go Austin

Most people would agree with you. The fat cat WT administrators are doing very little to help this struggling club and would be among the very few to ignore the truth.

No. I'm sick of the Jobs for boys culture here.

Get someone not affiliated with Balmain, Wests or Wests Tigers, for every coaching role and every role to do with recruitment and retention.

Time for this club to grow up and start to operate as a professional business

And get off Farah's back !!
At least he tried, together with Rowdy

I thought the same. Robbie only hogged the ball after the others failed on many occasions score near the line - at least he got over the line with the ball in his hand. Others when they did not make more metres than him don't get blasted for dying with the ball.

First half - down 18-6 - 2m out - line set to the left for 4th tackle - Farah takes Sironen for short ball to the right and next play (last tackle), with line to the left still ready, Farah tries to beat 4 players and dive over himself. If I was Brooks, Moses and Tedesco, I would be pulling my hair out.

Gary you need to watch a replay of that fifth tackle option again, Moses switched from left and ran across to the right edge at the very last minute as the ball was being played. This gave Farah no time to get the ball to him so was left not much choice but to go himself.. In saying that I believe Farah has had his time and needs to go along with Taylor

I've read 3 posts too many of yours already.

Ha. I've given up on that. Only took 16 years.

In most of the games he's played this year he's been in our top 3 performers, I know that doesn't take much with our bunch of no hopers but he's still better than most especially out imposter halves.

I can't agree with that statement. Tedesco, Ave, Grant, Lawrence, Sue, Naquama and at times Moses have been our most consistent and best performers this season.[/quote

I didn't include most of them in the bunch, but Moses and Sue certainly are.

Rubbish. Robbie was given a bath by by Hodgson who showed how to play at hooker. Yes, he tried but that isn't good enough for a SOO hooker.

The stupidity of the Farah v JT debate is that even if you believe Farah is "crap" it's JT that should shoulder the responsibility for playing him. Nothing in his 900k contract that says he should be starting or playing certain minutes etc. you can bet your bottom dollar if any of his potential replacements were even 20% of the quality of Farah, they'd be playing!
Fact is Farah will play Origin this year and will be a key player in the blues if they're to win. I personally don't blame him if he seems unmotivated. How could you be motivated for a boss that doesn't believe in you?

Taylor needed to start hooking players about two or three rounds ago. This will likely cost him his job.

If it doesn't the axe needs to be swung. Milone, Brooks are two that definitely need to go. If he survives the week, I doubt we'll see any changes and the same process will be repeated.

Anasta just confirmed on FOX that Taylor has lost the players, and has done for quite a while, he said he has heard this directly from people in the the weststigers club.

I said it last year and still applies. We need big aggressive forwards that can intimidate the opposition. The current pack is one of the smallest in the competition and will get steamrolled most games. it's impossible for the backs to to attack behind a pack that is constantly being dominated.
Taylor definitely needs to be replaced by a more senior coach that can get the respect of the players. He was totally clueless at half time, head in his hands! How must the players have felt seeing that? Toovey has been there & done that.
Need to ensure players like Malone who is not FG level & Halitau who is past use buy date are let go.
We have good backs that will respond to the right coach who gets their respect.
Those centres ,including Simona, have no idea on their line. They rush out of the line every time. Some one needs to ensure it doesn't keep happening , otherwise try flood will continue.

When was this ?
I didn't listen to much of him harping on at halftime, I needed a break especially after their try just before the buzzer.

And after the game I was in no mood to see anymore of the coverage . I had seen enough of the 60-6 Thrashing

FOX sport fulltime, they were wrapping up all todays games, when Shirvo asked do you think Taylor has lost the players.
Even Gaz said at halftime he just sat with his head in his hands, it looks like he has lost the players, and that is when Anasta said this.
