I heard only this morning that a deal has almost been done with Cleary. The only thing stopping thus far is a meeting between Pascoe and Toovey tomorrow ( a last ditch effort from Toovey). My source is a mate of mine who is in the media is not associated with our club but very very close to the Manly club.

Let's see?

Please get Toovey.

I really hope this time Farah rubber stamps this selection or it could be 4 coaches in 4 years!

Just saw Taylor on TEN news,he is in denial, cranking on about how much progress he has made, how he is confident he won't be sacked, never denied when asked has he lost the players, I really don't want him as the face of the Weststigers any longer, it is a poor look.

I reckon he is confident he won't be sacked. I reckon he has had massive support from the club.

As for progress he is 10% correct. The problem is that the progress has been backwards. I'm serious too we've gotten worse under JT.

Oldie but a goodie

Denial is more than just a river in Egypt

Are you talking about Cleary or Toovey for 2017?

Snake , what evidence do you have that Farah has even looked like causing any pronblems at any time this year, it'd be interesting to hear it
Actually in his/her last update Tiger a Torch said that Farah hasn't been involved in any crap. , if he's the real deal, he'd know more about it than you or me. :sign:

The standard proof or evidence is that a mate of a mate read it on this forum or heard it down the pub.

Ohh Well,
who could doubt that then??
But, was that Before or after the 10th drink.

Make no mistake we are attractive to good coaches for 2017 onwards.
We will have cash from WESTS, Cap Space with Farah signing to play 3 years in England and younger players with upside. A few astute signings and a good coach and we are bak in the top 8 race.

Taylor is the problem along with a poisoned locker room which, should be sorted with Taylor and Farah going.

What makes you so sure they will both be gone next year ? Farah recently said he may want to play on. Taylor isn't going to quit.

Taylor will be sacked for non performance/incompetence. Farah will be in England. There is no market for him now and it makes more sense for him to sign a big 3-4 year deal in the UK.

Don't worry, we can turn any "astute signing" into a plodder within half a dozen
games with no effort at all.
Give us a full season , and we'll turn him into a blubbering reserve grader.
One good thing is if he falls that far, he'll never be dropped from the first grade team 😢

It depends - are we talking about the mate or the mate of the mate. I reckon it's about 10 drinks each though.

At least!!

Toovey so we have someone to stand up and let it be known that we won't take constant walking over by the referees would be nice. Cleary seems to be a bit of a bore. Let's get this place jumping!! Taylor I'm sure means we'll and wants to get there without excuses, as he's said from day one. But he's not taking us anywhere unfortunately. He put Potter down, he should assess himself similarly.

I'm not sure Toovey was respected or taken seriously by the refs.

He was a whinger as a Player and a coach

The squeeky wheel gets the most oil. Right now, we get nothing and it'll stay that way

Terry Lamb on Sterlo on the Couch…How time changes yet remain the same..

"I probably wasn't ready for the job coming from Canterbury I thought all Clubs were the same..I could trust people at Canterbury at Wests Tigers I had me problems..Certain people staff and players but I stood on my haunches and asked players to play reserve grade..probably I shouldn't have done that but made the decision I was the Coach ...live and die by the sword..and Yeah see ya later"...

Here in 2016 the Culture still lives strong..
