We are a weird mob.

Sometimes I think that there are dozens of Other team's supporters on here throwing mud for fun. I'm just grateful that all they can do is post their silly opinions. We had a reasonable year and no-one can doubt that but still we have comments like "I'm over this club" and "meh" and "it's insanity"

Personally, I think Pascoe is a smart operator. I also think we have a decent board, since like - forever.

Are we going to win the comp in the next 2 years? No, I don't think so. I think we are going to be a very stable club over the next few years and that's a pleasant change.

You are so easily pleased…can you tell me who will come 5th in Randwick race 7 on the weekend please? People who support mediocrity tend to know the answers to questions like this.

You think we had a "reasonable" year we'll be "stable" for the next few and that'll do you. You are the sort who bores his friends to death still talking about 2005\. I bet you have your kid's 7th placed ribbon in the past swimming carnival front and center on the fridge…We need a winning mentality in this club and its hard to bring it in when supporters don't demand it.

I'm not gonna be supporting Souths. I'm not gonna be supporting anyone.

Souths sound like the perfect club for you Radiowave… They sacked Taylor and they signed Farah...

Maybe you should reconsider your position...

It was a decent year & certainly an improvement on last year. But at the end of the day our season came down to winning 50% of our last 4 games. We failed this. A spot in the 8 was ours for the taking but we weren't good enough. Personally I think JT & the team (all bar Tedesco, ET & Nofo) need to show more before we lock them in.

Improvement on the Ladder yes but as a whole NO!!!!

Our defence is worse and most concerning , Round 26 need to WIN to play Semi Final Footy at a packed Leichardt ground and we didn't loose we got spanked .

Things were helped on the Position we finished on the Ladder by playing the Broncos during Origin time , playing a depleted Parramatta side the 2nd time , Dragons and beating a Pathetic Warriors side etc….

We could've even had our destiny in our own hands had we beaten the Titans at Campbelltown but when we played sides at full strength we weren't good enough .

As someone else said next year Roosters , Manly , Parra and Souths won't finish where they did this year.

As per the Original Thread..... Your telling me that if we don't give JT an extension that Teddy , Moses and Woods will go elsewhere   pffftt please

Good points. Further, if Manly started better in round 2, if Souths weren't awful in 9, if Newcastle weren't rubbish, if Inglis does follow his kick off in round 14, if Cartwright can tackle Tedesco in round 17, if the Cowboys played rubbish in round 22 and if we forgot to fill in our NRL application form thus not getting our byes, we would have finished on zero points.

No I wasn't. Let me clarify. My main points were that our year was an overall failure & I think JT & the team (all bar Tedesco, ET & Nofo) need to show more before we lock them in.

Good give Taylor and Sandercock extensions. Not real sure about bringing back Webster though.
Oh and the GMOFO should go if we are serious about removing the boys club culture of the past.

This wasn't even directed at you at all, have a breather mate.

I think its only fair that Taylor gets a run without Farah in the team. Anyone who thinks this had no effect on the players is kidding themselves. If we are playing the kind of footy that gets you finals and our defence has improved then sit down with Taylor and give him an extension. Can you imagine we extend Taylor in the off season and we get of to a shocker next year.

Who was the gibberer who kept insisting JT was only contracted to this year & '17 was an option in the clubs favour?

wasnt it tiger torch, the same guy you conveniently quoted to back your point about farah burning bridges :astonished:

All you can do is turn up and try beat the team your playing. The other teams form, injuries, internal drama or what ever you have no control over. IF is a big word.. I was one off second prize in the opera house lottery 30 years ago, IF only I did not let that old lady in front of me

This could be another silly move by the club if the extend his contract for 2-3 years and then the club can't make the 8 next year, I'd be waiting until at least mid way through 2017 to see where we are at and if they want to extend him before Xmas it would only have to be for a year with a stipulation the team has to make the 8, if not then let him go at the end of 2017
