**MEANWHILE Catalans have signed the Melbourne Storm tackling machine Dallas Johnson for 2010\. The 25-year-old loose-forward replaces Jason Ryles, who is joining Sydney Roosters.\

Wow. me too ! I will be absolutely filthy. The guy who told me we had Lima was one of our 1st grade coaches. He told me twice in two seperate conversations I had with him. I wonder what is going on? If Lima does not come , and we have lost Galea, Payne and Dayne Laurie. We will be looking very skinny in 2010.

It is a huge worry.

The recruitment abilities of this club is a huge worry.

After the four nations you will see some big -name forwards moving I still think though that thers is a hope we will get a quaity forward but I dont think it will be lima. The dogs have their nose in front of us at the moment with lima this is from a good dog source. If he comes to sydney its dogs or tigers but we are a little behind at the moment what do you guys think of sika manu.

Manu or Lima would both be awesome additions but if Cayless is the only Prop we sign then i think wer'e still short of boppers up front

Bug…you know nothing is certian until it signed and sealed.....I heard exactly the same as you from a similar source....on more than 1 occasion...At that point in time I have no reason to believe that it wasn't genuine.....

Curcumstances changed with Johnson being released....I believe the Storm still have to shed 1 or 2 more players...let's wait and see what happens after the Four Nations before we judge the recruitment for 2010....

Humphreys himself....... said in essance we haven't spent up to the cap yet given the money being used to court Lortay...

Galloway. Gibbs, Payten, Cayless....Schirnack and the young bucks wanting to prove themselves...is a lot better than what we started 2009..If we miss out on Lima there is still time to find another forward......

My guess the Storm need all the cap space they can get and their priority will be the young guys, so with that in mind I see Lima as still a big chance and theirs still mail around it was a done deal weeks ago. Anyway great if it comes off not the end of the world if it dosnt

Can't see the Storm releasing Sika Manu. From the Bellamy's statements, he's rated very very highly by the club. I'd say no chance, but would absolutely love to have him.

The Melbourne Storm lost 6 million dollars in 2009\. They operate at a loss and lose this amount and more each year. They usually go into each season having spent over the cap and they usually cop a $100,000 fine each time. So News Limited, who own 50% of the NRL competition, subsidises this financial loss every year from the NRL coffers.

It is just not fair. Once News Ltd they detach themselves from the NRL, where will they get the money from to pay the Storms bills ?? From other News ltd operations etc ?? I cant see that lasting too long.

You see what angers me is that the Storm do not have to worry about where cash comes from now because it is like an endless pit of cash.

It is very unfair.

Sika Manu is the backrower with a huge future in the game

If he comes back from his injury, then he his one awsome player,I would love him to come here.

I still don't think we will be caught short if we miss out on Lima…...I would love him at the club but we will have
_ Big Kieth - 108kg
_ Cayless - 108kg
_ Gibbs - 108kg
_ Junior Morrs - 114kg
_ Payton - 108kg
_ Andrew Fifita - 113kg
Plus we have others backing them up
Gareth Ellis
Chris Heighington
Willie Mataka
Simon Dwyer
and TNT if he drops his pace after surgery.
To me that it looking alot better than 09.
And if we have a good year we will also start attracting more top quality players.
