OFFICIAL Jeral Skelton #294

What does this mean for Luke Lauli'i. I know he's been a bit rocks and diamonds but I hope we can keep him long term. A mini To'o clone imo. I bet this means Staines is on the outer along with sullivan, naden, klemmer
It would mean that he gets the progression he's supposed to get- play, develop in the lower grades & when the time is right- he steps in. He competes to be a viable option if injury or suspension hits.

Roster depth. Doesn't mean he's not our future. Just means he isn't asked to do more than he's currently capable of.

It means that he doesn't need to be rushed and can take his time with his development.

Luke is still eligible for Flegg for three seasons AFTER this year...

Unless Val Holmes decides he wants to be a Tiger, there are a few more unheralded guys that could fit into the backline, or at worst, offer strong competition.

I've mention Isiah Tass & he would be a great addition.

Hayze Perham would be an underrated option that can cover fullback, wing, centre & 5/8.

Tesi Niu is a pocket rocket that can cover centre & wing for flexibilty.

I'm sure I'm about to hear how terrible Niu & Perham are, but if they are good budget depth options capable of putting pressure on the likes of Staines, Doueihi & Olam for starting spots- they are good additions.

Tass would be an instant starter- but any of the 3 are good imo.

I don't want Val in our team, horrible defender and a lazy bugger at the cows would become lazier here

Really like Isaiah Tass, another astute play! Would like to have got Kayal Iro if he didn’t resign, that blokes a weapon
