I’ve watched a few of their games and I’m impressed with Jackson Owen.
He’s very solidly built and looks to be quite mobile for a man his size.
He plays with plenty of commitment, good energy and good aggression.
I think he could make the step up to NSW Cup without a problem, not sure if he can progress to NRL or not, but he looks to have the right attitude to continue to improve, so it’s not beyond him.
I don’t see much of an NRL future for him, but I agree he’s good at this level.

Wonder if he’ll be kept on as a NSW Cup player next year.

He is not going to get a top 30 contract for 2024, but we could do worse than keep him our extended NSW Cup squad to see how he progresses.

Apparently dene halatau has been doing extra training sessions with Jackson and a few of the flegg boys
You see many of our supporters comment that the Wests Tigers have a bad culture.
As long as we keep legends of the club such as Halatau, Heighjngton, Farah and Marshall all heavily involved helping bring our emerging players through, I believe our culture will be very strong.
Too many of our supporters get too caught up with our CEO and board members, honestly the players couldn’t care less who is our CEO or on the board, they are only interested in their immediate coaches and team mates.

Noticed, he seem to be prompted into the side pretty quickly. What's his background, Canberra junior?

Fully agree with this assessment. Looks like a bigger version of Feledy.

I watched JF last year at Shark Park, Tigers v Sharks. They smashed us. But Owen caught my eye off the bench. Had a real go.

Dene was my favourite WT player.
All heart.

Sukkar in the centres? I understand Feledy coming off the bench after the Origin game, but why would they not play Peni in the centres and give Mason a run at fullback to start the game.
