John Grant should replace Lote

Im loathe to think what a Bellamy or a Hasler wld have achieved with Grant's talents by now,but we are where we are I guess

some would argue that is irrelevant what other coach's would've gotten out of grant because they would've never bought him in the first place. a coach is the manager of a team and whatever squad the team builds is due to the coach.

Ironically your post is true, Hasler and Bellemy would be unlikely to buy a player from the shute shield or similar. Sheens has done it 4 times now, with varying success Saffy and Tuaki were successes, McGann was not and Grant is yet to be seen.
Bellemy styles shows he is likely to buy a proven journeyman and Hasler seems to have gone more mainstream as well.

There's battalions of people willing him to fail for no other reason than his success will dent the collectives opinion that 'RL playerz is better dan da Rugby nuffies' It promotes ignorance and lack of understanding to an entirely new level

He played fullback the last game and was out of sorts, was stood up a few times and beaten, but overall that game was pretty poor every man for himself. And grant isnt ready for first grade.

He may be 62 but he's incredibly powerful. Just watch what happens when he throws his weight around. 😕

He is a first grade player alright. He is big, fast, has great hands, can tackle and bust one, can turn and chase and finish off any breaks that the side makes (although few and far between these days). In a nutshell, he is everything that our current wingers are not. (except Beau ).

I actually think John will make the NRL side and have said so for a while. However as others have stated it will ne next year at the earliest. For mine John currently would be behind both of our 20's wingers in line for a NRL spot. I actually think Marika Koriebete will make his debut this year. I have been going to football for about 30 years and this kid is one of the most talented and exciting prospect I have seen. For mine Marika is a long way ahead of John Grant.
