How does this still have legs? I know the irony of me posting about it keeps it going, but honestly why is this a thing? Why do people complain that Johns doesn't want to work with her? Why does she need to be front and centre for people to be happy about footy commentary? I know who I would rather listen to when it comes to hearing abut football....
Why does Sampson not suffer the same problems that Molan does (despite the rumours with Sampson and Smith)?

Just curious for peoples thoughts....

I get that, but on purely footy discussion I think Vonny smashes it whereas Molan doesn't....

TBH I’m not a fan of listening to anyone who hasn’t played the game. Same goes for other sports- if I’m watching the netball don’t particularly want to hear from guys who have never played - just my opinion but I ain’t gonna hate on anyone trying to make a living.

As for this particular thing - so what IF Joey doesn’t want to work with her - his right to do what he likes without it becoming ww3 for all the politically correct wankers

Sure, it's his RIGHT not to work with her.... by quitting if it bothers him so much. Otherwise, stop being a snowflake and suck it up like everyone else who has to work with people they don't like.

The thing is Molan’s role is that of anchor, not expert commentary.. exactly the same as James Bracey. Those two are there to run to the format, ask questions of the ‘expert’ panel about the game/players and do their best to make sure the broadcast runs to time. I think she does a great job, as does Bracey.

These people crapping on about ‘I’d rather only listen to the men who have played the game blah, blah’ have got Erin’s role completely arse up. She has the same role as the likes of Ken Sutcliffe, Tim Gilbert, Bruce McAvaney and Bracey - none of these guys have played the game, nor are they expert commentators on the intricacies of it either, yet they have never been called out on it like Molan has, and is continually! It really makes no sense to me at all!

As for the supposed feud? Storm in a teacup to get more ratings for the GF I reckon. Oh...that and Joey’s a dribbler 😂

Personally, I find her a bit annoying when she talks and Yvonne Sampson seems to be much more knowledgeable imo. However, this all started by a report by Rothfield, why aren't the media getting up Rothfield for bringing this up ? I don't agree with any forms of bullying and that includes Molan. But Rothfield seems have a get out jail card and seems to be immune for personal criticism for the crap he writes and says and he deserves it more.

@Masterton why should he quit when there is a perfectly viable option for him to commentate and colour games instead of being a talking head on a panel - they have more than enough ex players fighting to get their mugs on telly.

Yeah, exactly as I said, limited.

As for her dad, we will keep it to your comment. George W did declare the invasion and subsequent operations were a success and I think even gave Jim a medal. I tend to recall the absolute chaos of that period and the creation of a movement that quickly overtook a good portion of Iraq and neighboring land, until finally quelled more than a decade after he retired.

I can't call the loss of so many lives and infrastructure over the ensuing 15 years as a result of decisions made on the ground by the operation commander back in 2004 a success, but even with so much information out there, you are still free to believe whatever you like.
