OFFICIAL Jordan Miller #289

I don’t want to get too excited from a few minutes in one game …but he could turn into a behemoth with that body size …
Yea it’s about desire and work ethic now ! He could be another Sam Kasiano / slight disappointment , or he could be another Willie Mason / Asofa Somona unit . It’s all in front of him , is all I’m saying . The sky literally is the limit for this kid . He’s definitely not Payne Hass level talent . But if that’s god tier for a prop ( which I personally think it is . I don’t remember seeing a prop like something you’d design out of a video game ) , then he’d be potentially wise , and only potential at this stage , a couple of tiers bellow .
For those who want to take out of context what I’m saying . I’m only talking about potential . Not performance . So relax with the inevitable 100 props you are gonna name who are better !
This all about raw ability .

Exactly right.
At the moment he’s a lazier version of Sam Kasiano which means he won’t last in the NRL long term.
However if he is willing to work hard, strip 10kgs off his frame and get fit enough to not be a defensive liability, he could become a cult hero and a valuable member of the team for many years to come.

Jordan Miller has potential but needs time to develop into a First grade Prop. Good season full of hard physical work in the gym, agility training under Roger Fabri, and following a good Nutrition plan he would easily move 15kgs of baby fat. But do not rush the kid.

To be honest I wasn’t overly impressed but you can see he has a lot of potential.
Once he’s lost a bit of puppy fat and is a lot fitter the rest is up to him.
Hope he grabs the opportunity.

Should be really happy with his debut, not a long stint as expected but was really active during that time. think he could get another chance late in the year and really be pushing for a bench spot come 25.

Not sure he is lazy. He's just not capable of doing all the things he needs to at this stage because of his size and conditioning. He's still a baby. I'm sure he's working hard and if he keeps at it, he'll could be great.

What I liked from his debut- his head was swiveling in the tackle, looking for a support runner. Didn't get an offload- but was looking for it.

Once he learns more nuance, I see a ball player at the line.
What got me was the fact we are 15 odd games into the season and he can’t hit the line with any pace , even with his body shape he should be able to play a very solid 15 minutes, makes me wonder if he’s getting any special help from the coaching staff

This is where Pole and Twal can assist with Miller learning from them.

I was cracking up hearing the trainer yelling at him “only two more tackles” like he was hanging on for dear life. Must have been pretty hard for the kid. As many have said, his conditioning appears to be his challenge so the S&C team are no doubt on the case
Undoubtedly.

Starting in KOE regularly as he is now is only going to be good for his conditioning and overall development. Its a load of valuable experience that he'll have under his belt before he's even 20 years old.

A long term prospect, but a very good one.

He didn't look lazy in the match, he looked like a big kid whose body was still growing and maturing. I don't know if the puppy fat is a lack of conditioning or effort, it's just his natural build right now. Comparing him to a Sam Fainu who is almost the same age but a totally different physique.
