I hate bagging our own players, and he obviously tries hard, but I'd prefer he never got a crack at first grade again.

JT"s golden child got a rails run last year, he could play as bad as he liked and still get picked every week, JT owns that wreck, lets hope that does not happen again this year. :angry:

Rankin doesn't have it, does he? Looks like he tries hard but just lacks any particular skill, then to make matters worse sometimes he has a pretty decent game, only for that form to absolutely dry up a week later. He does not inspire me in any way.

Funny our last nines game looked to be played at a totally different level without an imposter calling the shots.
JT has made this guy feel and play as though he has some sort of ability , kind of like the shit singers on Aus Idol that are laughed at by the real world while their parents think they are great.

Rankin has spent majority of his career playing in the halves. For his own benefit he should find another club that is looking for depth in the halves and stick with playing there, even if its in lower grade.
He will go backwards if he tries to re-develop himself as a winger.
