Josh Reynolds - in the news..... Again

Driving with an expired licence, whilst stupid, can be forgiven as it it easy to overlook.

Allegedly driving with drugs in your system - no words.

I love how they say awaiting the result of his test - he isnt really he knows if he has taken drugs or not and that should be the question that matters for his contract. I'm over the lack of value he has brought us with all the drama - clear 800k off our cap and spend it wisely

Add that to the cap penalty being completed at the end of this season and we have a mil to spend next year. Unfortunately there isn't much available at the moment.

He would have been going home after the return flight from Brisbane .Will the drug testers be at Concord this week???

If guilty, he has no place in the game.

However

.....he should be presumed innocent until proven otherwise.

He could use the defence, I turned to drugs because the coach considered me not good enough to make the current Wests Tigers side, he would probably get off

Good one Josh. Not the sharpest tool in the shed.

As you’d probably know roadside drug tests are a hit and miss affair

Have had similar happen to me where I’ve been tested positive, when really I was as clean as a whistle and further testing came back negative

So fingers crossed for Josh that’s the case, at the end of the day this is a human being who’s been through a lot lately and using this as a way to put him down and see it strictly as an advantage for us because we have extra money to play around with and not factor in what it might do mentally to Josh is disappointing tbh we should be supporting our players especially before we even know the proper details

Not backing him up or anything, but let’s get behind him until proven guilty I’ve had the pleasure to meet him and I know he’s a great guy at heart

Let’s just hope Josh gets the necessary support needed cause at the end of the day if this does come out to be true it’s clear he may not be in the right headspace

Never understand why an individual that earns $800 grand pa drives with an expired license and reportable takes drugs ..ever heard of Uber the safe bet !

I arrived back from QLD with the team via plane, late last night.
I was driving home to get some food and was pulled up with an expired drivers licence, which I was unaware of and an oversight by me.
The officer conducted alcohol and drug testing. The alcohol test was negative.

The roadside drug test was a false positive. I went to the police station and undertook the further sample for the higher level testing, which proved negative. I am told false positives on roadside tests are not uncommon. I was then released without charge.

. @buzzrothfield if you got anything to ask me face to face I’ll be at concord tomorrow from 8am to have a chat about the reality.

hey all, nasser here.

i think we should sack him and use his $900k to buy someone who actually plays first grade. he is absolutely robbing the club.

Well we don't know what drugs they suspect josh of taking
It could be for depression for all we know
It could be a false positive
As far a an expired license goes, if you move address and forget to update your details it is understandable
It happened to me with my rego.
I'm sure he had more pressing matters to deal with like I did at the time.
I went to court and beat a $1000 infringement notice
I could show I was dealing with other private matters going through the court
Josh was doing the same and it was public knowledge
So let's give him the Benefit of the doubt for the moment

Had an expired license, who cares? His second drug test came back negative. Nothing in it at all
