although I was expecting far worse, Wests Tigers can't have our highest paid player (or any player for that matter) absuing women like that when we have women as both players and members of staff within the organisation.

Oh stop it, basing off that video it seems like she barged into his house uninvited, Josh got angry and he sweared a few times and that was all

You can tell this girl is out for a payday, getting the cameras ready etc

‘You f***ing piece of s***’: Distressing Josh Reynolds footage emerges

Distressing footage has emerged of NRL star Josh Reynolds verbally abusing a woman.

The Wests Tigers playmaker can be seen screaming obscene abuse at the woman, who’s filming the incident on her phone, calling her a “c***” and a “dog”.

He also tells her to “get out of my house”.

The vision, obtained by foxsports.com.au, runs for 37 seconds and is being shared widely.

“Give me my phone, where the f*** is it?” he demands. The woman then sniffs and says “I don’t even know, Josh.”

Reynolds continues: “Get out of my house. I want you out now. I want you out now or I’m going to f***ing flip it. I swear to go I’m going to flip it,” he says pointing and shirtless.

“Why, what did I do?” the woman responds.
Reynolds then says, pointing at the camera before moving his arm towards the camera: “You f***ing stormed into me like I’m a f***ing convict you f***ing piece of s***.

“F***ing dog. Why the f*** would I do s*** like that? Why why why?”

The woman says “are you serious” before Reynolds continues.

“You scared the f*** out of me, you scared me... you walked in? You f***ing barged in you lying c***’.

“Oh, wowee,” the woman responds before the video ends with Reynolds asking: “are you serious?”

Fox Sports has approached the NRL for comment.

I'd be horrified if one of my sons spoke to a woman in the same manner as JR did. But, it's not criminal. The court matter is the one he has to worry about. This, while not nice, is just another example of the bad side of human behaviour. It's not a hanging offence.

When is he back in court?

August. I believe this is an unrelated video to that issue

I should stress I haven’t seen the video and really don’t want or need to see it. But, if it’s as reported earlier in this thread I can’t see how the alleged behaviour frees up $750k or whatever JR is on per season. The behaviour as reported is crass and boorish but not criminal in its own right. The other matter before the courts could potentially result in a criminal conviction. Happy to hear I’m wrong but I can’t see how we’re $750k better off at this point.

Agree... stupidity rules the NRL. He may not ever play another game for us but we’ll still be paying his salary that entire time. Thanks Iv... thx a lot

No his contract would be null and void.

Shouldn't this have it's own thread

It did. Got shut down.
Lets discuss how we'll spend this newly available 750k

Is that newly available $750 official or just another rumour?

Only if guilty on original charge, which is exactly the point I’m making, you need to question and decipher the motive’s behind any choice to release this video publicly and how it hasn’t already surfaced, or what J.R may indeed be hiding in his defence for a day in court!

I won’t comment again as I’m totally uninformed on the actual issue and how this may make it much worse for him. Feelsbadman

The NRL were already investigating him, the decision on whether or not to stand him down hasn't been made yet. Perfect timing if you ask me, not even being slick I'm just saying

It will be interesting to see how long before WT put a statement up on the website. It usually takes a little time to wordsmith it, pass it by legal and then pass it by the NRL but if it takes too long it's not a good look. Will also be interesting to see whether he's stood down.

If this is a new video what is she doing in what appears to be his house when I thought she had an AVO out on him.

Doesn’t need to be criminal. Can be behaviour detrimental to the profitably of the club etc. by my count this is his 3rd incident, I doubt he will still be a tiger in the coming weeks

Why would he be stood down? He swore at someone...Fox catches players swearing in the games all the time.

Swearing in your own home is not a sackable offence.

This woke revolution is getting out of hand.

Needs to go...his claim of never being violent is shot to pieces and, regardless, no man should talk to a woman like that.

The amount of victim blaming on here without any of us knowing the context is a little concerning....
