JTJ - worst ever?

I feel sorry for the Jet the ball consistently go's to the otherside or as ink said above Doueihi goes himself or turns back in. You can see his frustrations at the lack of ball and of quality ball, he then goes looking for it and overplays his hand. For gods sake CheeKam saw far more ball than Jimmy, as far as im concerned thats a bad game plan.

He never gets any good ball from Douehi..... If it looks like half a chance Douehi goes himself, straightens or turns it back inside.

He will however get hospital passes and balls where nothing's on

Doueihi is a half that likes to engage the line and then use his footwork to break tackles, this doesn't really suit Roberts who likes to run on to the ball in space and use his pace to beat defenders. They aren't suited to play together.

Cheekam was a standout as the worst player. Scored 2 tries for Manly, bombed one for Wests

Pretty much the way I expected him to go after watching him in the knock-on cup for a number of weeks. He’s not NRL standard.

Especially has a centre, what a dumb selection.

Mbye first..........daylight second.

And yet he's NEVER been dropped.

Sure was.

He's a hog.
As a centre he needs to set up his winger.
I don't think he likes to pass.

A couple of times today the ball went left early through Brooks and Nofo and ended up with Lucy on the wing (most notably the one where Nofo was held back). Imagine if it was JTJ instead of Lucy.

I'd give him one more chance and tell Brooks to get him into space.

I can't agree with that, he is overpaid but is in there having a go and has been pretty good in his bench role this year.

He's on minimum wage. That alone keeps him out of the talks of worst signings. Joey is playing worse and is on decent coin. We paid Reynolds a bucket load of money

Agreed. Does he suck though? Has his ‘potential’ been heavily outweighed by the fact that he is totally useless in a FG side? I’ve never been more excited and under pleased by a player, regardless of wage.

Its time for Madden to play half and Brooks to 5/8th

AD isn’t a half and well Maddens defense couldn’t be worse than ADs at the moment.

It’s a crowded field.

We had Cory Patterson once .....

The way JTJ is playing he would barely make reserve grade. He was cheap but he has cost us heaps this season. If he is as fast as he is supposed to be he should of figured somewhere in defence in the process of Manly's 3 tries in 5 minutes which occurred through our centre. He wasn't anywhere there in 2 of those 3 tries. If Madge selects him again this week I think he is doing the wrong thing for the team but also for JTJ himself.

The one thing Madden has going for him is he gives early ball, I am not convinced with him though.

He lacks the acceleration, speed and altitude of a jet. Jimmy the Crop Duster is more appropriate, although he is getting abysmal service from the players inside him.

I don't think he can. Didn't he put one over the sideline, missing his winger by metres?

Wasn’t today: looked like a grandma out there tackling with handbags.

JTJ is the least of our problems! Bloke has been starved of ball all season and given no opportunity to show his skills.

Chee Kam got more ball in this game than JTJ had had all season. I’m a fan of Douehi but he is a run first type of 5/8 and gives next to to service for his outside men.

I’d really like to see JTJ outside of Brooks who has the ability to put his man into a hole, I think that combination would work well.

move Douhie and Mmbye to centre
put Roberts on the wing
play Madden at 7 and Brooks at 6
simpkin hooker
Liddle on bench
