Not sure on that one hopefully he did play some first grade for them just to get some experience at playing top level even though it is a different game

Happy with this signing must have something special about him to get 3 years off the bat and I reckon Roberts will be our 29th spot just my opinion but won’t be surprised with it but I hope Junior Tupou does well and can hopefully get a run next year

after having a bit to process, this signing shows the lack of faith the club has in Hoffman & Kei as genuine centre options next year. Talau is a while off, Kepaoa off an ACL and Gildart a complete unknown at this stage. unsure what Tupou brings but to coerce him to switch back codes on a 3 year deal indicates that the club thinks he's worth it. I guess we'll know more come trial games.

The club needs young promising centres who can progress to first grade level centres. Gone are the days when the club has to rely on older players such as Roberts.
