Well I hope this head up arse stuff has been purged from talent identification surely Benji has some input, the guy who made the choice between Tumeth and Kautoga at the eels needs a white cane and a spot in the line at Centrelink.

Height & explosive speed are 2 attributes lacking through our pathways and have for some time.

Makasini & Taupau-Moors are 2 with height who have ability plus a couple of forwards in Laurie Daley Cup. Probably add Huahulu to that as he's probably close to 190cm.

Oitmann, Lanyon, Iszac Isdale & Aroyan are 4 with speed plus Kingston Finau isn't too shabby either.

But we need to identify & develop more from our massive catchment.

I think the exlplosive speed is something we have been lacking within many of our up and coming players, moreso than lack of size and height.
Young Izaak Isdale has that explosive speed, so hopefully that proves enough to overcome his lack of height,
Luke Laulilli and Talkyn Da Silva are the only other players I can recall we have developed in recent times that have explosive speed and we will no longer have either of them. I think letting them both go will be a decision we regret before too long.
On the explosive speed topic, surely we can find some back rowers that fit this description.

Gotta be better than a clueless flog with too much invested in SuperCoach or the weekends multi like plenty of other on here right?
Or someone with some sort of Stockholm syndrome - who thinks because we over paid and over hyped every other kid displaying a smidge of talent that we have to keep doing it.
I’ve seen him play, and I’ve seen far better at that age retire in QCup with 7 minutes NRL under their belt.

I’m on his side - but he’s got a way to go, and a lot of work to do.
Only so many hours in the day.

No champ , I just see these kids as humans and not cattle or a commodity. . Something you and many on here might want to take on board.

I’m just not an arsehole on a forum , spewing hate about a 19 year old Aus schoolboy , who’s clearly got all the intangibles but hasn’t got his adult body going yet
The thing I notice about a lot of guys on here . Is when there’s photos of them , the most outspoken and mean spirited and nasty are usually the biggest pencil necks . Guys you’d never even consider punching on with , because the idea would just make you laugh . But yet these guys , say the most heinous shit on here , and carry on like little girls who’ve been told they can’t go to thier friends place .
And I guarantee you and your mate would never say this shit to my face . Or Godinets dads face , which is the exact opposite to my self .why do I say this ? Because the forum and social media as a whole allows people an outlet to spew shit they’d never say in a million years in real life . Whether the threat of violence , social ridicule whatever … I find that a real lack of integrity .
There’s literally nothing I’ve ever said on here I wouldn’t say to you or anyone else’s face straight up . And that’s my issue with you and your mate.
Criticise .. go for it , but when you’re implying someone lacks work ethic because they have extracurricular endeavours outside of football , especially when they arnt even outside of football , that’s just bullshit . It’s lazy , and it says more about you than any one else .
