Justin Olam #281

So it's an ACL.

So season one was shit,
Season 2 might be the same due to recovery time,
He might be ready for Semi Finals,
So for about $1-5 Million we might get one full season.
I don't really know how much we paid him, but whatever it was, it obviously was 66% to much.

Sorry Dennis .....I was asking if it is an ACL....I don't know if it is or isn't

As good as someone having surgery is, this is good news. Best chance of him fulfilling his contract in the best shape as possible.

If it's just a cleanout, with a month to go and then off-season, hopefully Olam can complete most if not all of pre-season.
All the best in recovery Justin 🙏

If Olam knees were good enough there is no way in hell the Storm would have let him go. They got a talented young backrower for a busted veteran, that's why they're the best. These exchanges kill us. Terry Hill and Scott Sattler redux.

Melbourne Storm made their long term problem ours to worry about …

Expensive lesson for Benji to learn … also whoever signed off on his medicals needs to be fired

I wonder how physical these medicals are. Hard to tell much from a few scans of a knee, unless it’s obviously something out of place.

Late to the party, but now everyone can STFU about Olam not wanting surgery. Looking forward to see him hitting some holes off Laui and Galvin next year and knocking some opposition players into the middle of next week!
I’m excited by him and Turuva as a dynamic centre pairing. Hopefully Willett fills out in the off-season and we sign a weapon from somewhere on the other flank.

Long story .....but had a ruptured ACL that a surgeon missed or decided not to do and played touch footy for almost a season
Went to new surgeon with old scans and he pointed out the ruptured ACL in the old and new scans ......
What a professional...

Meanwhile, OLAM playing with a BUSTED ACL is still our best backrower bar maybe Bula.

If he heals up, he will be dynamite.

I wonder if this would be happening if he wasn’t suspended?

Isn't that a scary thought.

That he only got a proper scan due to the ban. That DR1 misses an ACL tear and so Olam is playing crap.... Then DR2 points to the current tare and the one the first dr missed!

Hopefully healed up we can see some 2022 performance from him. Of all the backs we have signed, OLAM is IMHO the one I most look forward too.
