Justin Olam #281

In fairness who else was available for this season from December 12 2023.

He shouldn’t be signing dud players to long contracts though … regardless if no one better is available …

I’m gunna give Richo the benefit of the doubt on Olam though …only been here a week and it was Benji’s idea …

At this moment in time it’s hard to disagree that’s it’s a bad decision to sign him for 3 years, hopefully his surgery is effective. You’d hope we are looking at our processes around medical testing.

I actually like Olam if fit … they need someone of his toughness … and he is a proven winner … fingers crossed he recovers …

Hopefully lesson learnt from the coach and admin …

Yeah, I fear Turuva is similar and also looks to have a crook knee. Hopefully we see them both fully fit and firing next year.

They won’t have two better centers at the club next year if he is fit ..so may as well hope for the best
500-600k per season to hope for the best and with a very slim chance he will play more than 10 games.
That is not a good investment and certainly not money well spent.

Have you seen his MRIs?

Not saying you might not turn out to be right … but come on you have no idea if the surgery will be successful or not..

surgery fixes bung knees for a lot of athletes in a lot of sports
There’s a big reason the drizzle were over the moon to get rid of him!

The Highlands witch Doctor is coming down to clean out all the bad Juju, he'll be fine after that.
Yea, ah be careful.

I did not believe in PNG witch doctors till a few local PNG women explained it.
"so they would get some herb from a tree, on a stick and stick it in you... and you would die.
now they modernize and put battery acid in a syringe?"
"what like hired Killers?"

"Yes, Like Hired killers!"

They were smiling brimming white teeth when the stupid foreigner understood what they were talking about...
ah Marshall, be careful.
