Pascoe seems like an alright guy , and clearly loves the club with his Freudian we and us rhetoric in his interview , but the Lee stuff did my head in !
On one hand he talks about how the board were a bunch of no nothing , blazer wearing douchebags, and then on the other he talks about how the same douchebags shafted Lee and him . On that point it’s a case of “they’re telling you who they are” .
And as for the Lee supposed disrespect , I mean the fact that his money and benefactor had become muddled with the chairman role is the whole problem with the previous governance .
Also , once again his history of petulance “was telling us who he was” meant there was no way he was delivering a message in a press conference where he steps down and admits fault .
It’s pie in the sky stuff , and Monday morning quarterbacking .
The hubris and lack of realism about the actual situation the tigers are/were in , is either complete narcissism or just stupidity IMO.
I will be eternally grateful for the COE x 2 , and the financial stability Justin provided the club , but I said this a long time ago and
@cochise stole it for the podcast lol , you need peacetime generals and wartime generals . And that transition had to happen !
