I cant help but asked if Bennett is getting the rogering that Madge has been getting after a horrendous loss with a very highly paid roster....

Also noticed how well the Manly players got stuck into the slimeys after a very ordinary start to the season...

if you answered that Manly have TT and other classy players then that just goes to show how hard a job Madge has with this lot...

He has not done well. Not given us fans any reason to believe either.

If there was another available suitable coach being spoken about as a replacement then I'd rush to say New Coach. Is there?
(I don't know if John Morris is an upgrade).

I question a lot of what Madge does but I think we are one of the worst teams on paper in the league. We also have no depth, a bottom three spine, poor role players, no kicking game. This is not a top 8 team. These guys just don't have the requisite skill, speed or football nous.
Even Jack Gibson and Wayne Bennett needed good/great players.

So I'm undecided. Sorry.

I wont be doing any of that but we have to stick with madge until his contract expires.The cycle od sacking coaches has to be broken.I dont disagree with you very often but we need to stay the course with madge to bring the change we all desperately hope for

Not really most accept we have a rebuild on our hands. A win here and there won’t make any difference. If we run 10th or 16th we still won’t challenge anyone at the top.

Many people wanted Dean Pay out at the Dogs they have a better roster now and are running last with a new coach that was the flavour of the month.

It’s not a job for a rookie the Tigers coach. It’s a long term rebuild. I don’t think Madge will reap the benefits in his tenure. I suspect that’s why they extended him tbh. They know players won’t sign and likely top coaches won’t have any interest.

Key will be players improving Douihei, Laurie, Blore, Simpkin, Luciano, Brooks etc.

I think the field of candidates who are better qualified than Madge is a very small one and I can't think of an off-contract coach right now who I'd opt for. I'd be turfing his assistants in the first instance and overhaul that.

I voted to keep him , but I think the board should appoint some quality assistants to him, he won’t do it

Unfortunately if you asked Madge and the players at the start of the season they would've told you that they expected to be around the top 4.
Madge has no idea that this is a rebuild year. That's a forum created fantasy.

Rebuild is a convenient excuse for losers.
