Keith Lulia

Nice day out for KL today.

Mitch Brown on the other hand had another shocker. 2 of his last 3 performances have been Paul Cariage worthy (granted, he had one good game in between the shockers).

Nofa wouldn't have scored those.

Lulia went well, as he did last week. I like him on the wing. But come off it, Nofoaluma would have scored all of them. He wouldn't have had to make the difficult one as difficult either because he would have just knocked them all out of the way.

Today Nofoaluma wasn't on the field but Lulia was.

Yeah and I'm not arguing that he was good? I'm arguing that Milky reckons Nofoaluma couldn't have scored those tries? He would have easily.

Yes, I'll eat some humble pie.

He looked so comfortable out there, like he'd been on our wing for years.

A great game, all things considered, and they didn't really leak points with the only major points down that side by Inu when our line was a shot duck in the 3rd minute.

Nofo is heaps better but Lulia is a really good back up at centre or wing, He is a better option than Mitch Brown and he is a good player.

Who'd of thought Keith would sit along side Budda and Koro as the clubs scorer of most tries in 1 game…. 😱pen_mouth:

Well played sir

Yes he scored 4 tries, a damn great effort, but his defence and reading of plays is abysmal.

Go figure when Nofoaluma is out potter uses the right side. Potter must hate Nofoaluma.

Anasta ran the right side … All different with Austin at 6

I will check when I watch the replay, but even though he was playing at the back, from my seat it seemed that Moses was the one that "ran the right side" and made the difference, with Blake playing his usual busy game.

They were little slip in to the try line goals.
One question…...................
If he has to run the full field or make a big break....
is he fast enough to do and lead to a try???

Defo a better winger than centre, but does he have the speed for it??

True

Austin ran the right, he straightened and gave Moses space, Lulia finished off great work inside. Nofo would of scored all those and maybe a couple more. But credit where it is due well done Keith for hanging in and stepping up when required….that's what M Potter bought you for.

I love the presso, Potter says something like "Keith has been in and out of first grade for us, he's done an ok job, but today he did really well, they were quality finishes"; all with a wry smile on his face.

Glad to hear Potter call it straight, that Lulia has done an average job so far, and perhaps an element of surprise that the forced wing-switched turn out to be a masterstroke.

Forget whether or not other wingers could have scored those tries, point is Lulia backed himself and crossed every time. I expected another average performance, and now he is a club record-holder.

The Doggies left-side defence was struggling all day, Inu makes more bad defensive reads than anyone in our team. And Lulia had too much power for young Thompson (or was it Low on that side?).

It's always a good effort to score 4 tries, but I won't go getting too excited unless he is firstly selected there next week and he starts to perform like that every week (not necessarily score four tries a week, but make the most of his opportunities.) Some of those finishes were regulation.

I have to say that with Austin at pivot we're seeing how little ball the guys on the right have been seeing with Anasta there. It's no surprise that we rack up the points when we go to both edges.

Has anybody noticed how every week our ground announcer mispronounces his last name?
Calls him Keith Leuluai, as in Kylie and Thomas Leuluai.

daniela scored 4 against the warriors once

Poor Keith. He scores a record equaling 4 tries and still cops flack on here.

Well played Mr Lulia. You did your job very well.
