Koro in talks with storm

I am getting the impression all is not well in Tigertown…one winger is playing busted ..one winger is in career best form and not being given a go and please let's not go to defensive issues thats garbage.I get the feeling there could be a few surprise in the not to distant future.Under no circumstances Koro should be looking to move on with Richards only with the club for another season ..he should of played probable 4 games this year anyway with a busted Nofo.

Does anybody think the issue of no signings or the. Issues snake referring to could have anything to do with the introduction of the new board. What's going on with that ? Things seem to be going a bit slow upstairs.

I imagine its hard to sign new players when the club doesnt even know where its going to be based, and where the team will train from October.

That and the fact its well known we are broke and have out of date facilities and equipment…I dont expect anything for several years given Mayer has stated Woods is next years marquee signing

I dont understand why people are so surprised by the SMH article. The club were shopping him around a month or so ago and only stopped when MR T got picked up by rugby. I think their is about five clubs who love to get their hands on Koro.

Anyway with our dis functional backline who needs wingers, especially if they are on the right side of the field!!! Potter only lets them go left

We could have used BMM on Friday as well. Once Potter takes a dislike to you that's it. Brown would have been handy as well on Friday.
On the other hand Sirro Lawrence Anasta well…No problem.

then why was he playing bmm in the starting line up last year?

maybe he thought bmm has more of a chance playing first grade in penrith? maybe he let him go for HIS sake.

deadset, you make some of the most moronic posts on here… im hoping that you troll most of the time- and if that's the case then you've hooked me.

Yeah, its predictable.

But its fast tracking Brooks.

And its keeping Anasta away from the ball

Does anyone close to the club know why Koro seems to be on the outer here? I thought he would've been given a chance in the top grade by now, considering his impressive form and the lack of depth in our three quarters. I'd hate to see him go to the Storm, I still really think we need him here.

Richards is on the left and Nofo on the right. I'd play him on the left and extend his contract for a couple of years.

Potter would pick him if there weren't issues

Obviously he either wants Koroibete to continue working on his defensive issues and his problems under the high ball for a bit longer or he is concerned with making too many changes to the side to include Koroibete

Happy the side needs changes,it has stagnated at best, probably regressed in the last 5 weeks.,we all know what changes need to be made,Braith being change 1.

I really think the major problem is we are paying the price for some really bad calls made by Sheens and Humpty. The contracts we offered Moltzen and Lawrence and maybe a few others are crippling our salary cap, hence we have to clear space for the likes of Teddy, and you can only offload a player that another club wants. In Koro's case okay he is off contract at the end of the year so he has no bearing on our 2015 cap, except I would imagine we do not have any space available to re sign him.

easy to say that in hindsight imo.. lawrence was without a doubt a rep superstar at that stage and if we didnt sign him up, there would've been a massive backlash. as for moltzen, he was signed in 2012 because teddy had gone down, lui had beat up his missus and benji was still there.. not that bad a decision as no one would've thought brooks would be playing an entire season at halfback at only 19 years of age.

The money we are paying Lawrence you just dont pay to a no3 or no4 with maybe the odd exception like Lyons, that sort of coin is reserved for your spine players

i personally dont know what we are paying lawrence and at the time of his signing, i barely remember anyone complaining about how much we are paying for him.

all long term signings have their own risks and rewards. brooks/moses have been signed up for 4 years and who is to know that they wont suffer an injury like that and play like busted for the majority of their contracts?

sheens and humphreys made A LOT of wrong decisions but lawrence wasnt one of them. he was suppossed to be the next captain.

It was 1.9 over 5 years.

Didn't seem like overs at the time really - seemed about fair.

Then again when we did the deal, Koro was still in Fiji playing barefoot.

Think the issue with Koro is tied up with the re signing of Teddy and has a lot to do with the amount of cash available. With Teddy doing a backflip the cash for Koro isn't there now so he has been allowed to look at other options. Looking back he was rumoured to be going when it was thought that Teddy would be re signed then when the Teddy deal went pear shaped the rumours subsided.

This however still doesn't explain why Koro wasn't given a run over the past few weeks when clearly in top form.

Whilst he wasted little time getting on Potter's back again, at least he pretty well kept his word from early in the season, to lay off him until round thirteen. The problem for him though, is that at the end of that round we had a 7-5 record, that i believe way exceeded his dire prediction under this coach.
