Used to finish training and the tarago used to turn up and away they went .
Sometimes you’d catch the train with them and they’d get off at weird stations to make it easier for the Bus driver .
Especially when I was playing rep rugby , and the there’d be training conflicts the manly SG ball training .

is the kid really worth a mega deal, surely, we can squeeze him for a couple of hundred. Everything has played into his hands of late .DCE ,Dylan Brown, the new teams starting up. If anyone throws a spanner into the works ,i hope it's his parents. People say Izzac is stirring the pot, want Mum n Dad to leverage that gamesmanship, and cut ties. Good luck carrying Brookes. I doubt whether he could hide in any other team but ours- hasn't earned it yet. Allways something around the corner no point betting the farm on him

If he signs shortly 25 500k, 26 700k, 27 onwards for 6 years 900k with ratchet clause.
This is a sensible extension but do we expect that to happen no, the inflated market and his greedy manager will inflate his next contract to something ridiculous.

I think that you can almost guarantee at 19 his parents still see him as a kid and his manager might be doing the deal but they will be very much key in what ever path Lachlan takes.

Don't know about a mega deal but surely he's worth a large bucket with sides.
While not completely consistent atm he is improving and has a huge potential to get better. Having Luai with him will only help. If we string a few wins together and are in a good position on the ladder, that must help in retaining him.
