OFFICIAL Lachlan Galvin #277 *Released* Career Discussion.

Chammas and Gould have said there are much bigger issues being touted in the background.

At the same, the bulldogs withdrew themselves from the race.

WTF is going on?
It’s a power struggle mate.

It really is.

Take the Galvin decision or issues out. There’s way more going on.

2 top 30 local juniors getting dropped to Massey, is a message in itself:

Trust fund Doueihi is not broken??

One is a first grader when fit - the other is still uncontracted for next year and instead of blowing out the candles to celebrate his momentous 100th game - he shat on the cake and again proved that he's not a first grader!
Guess that makes it a chocolate mud cake.

Is it a form issue?

Because under their contracts they can leave if they are dropped that low, right?

Which suggests they were just bad top 30 signings in the first place...

Keen to learn more about this though, I don't have the context to the situations with those players.

All the footy shows and journalists are hinting that there is stuff behind closed doors. That will come out of the tigers don’t let him out. Obviously leaked from pond scum. Also I used to like Reedy the journalist l, but how pathetic did he look on 360? Just a lap dog for pond scum, how do u feel Reedy being a weak pathetic individual. Your parents must be so proud. Can’t stand up on your own?? Need pond scum to validate your existence??? Weak toad! Back in your pond toad next to your pond scum mate!
Read has ALWAYS just been a mouthpiece for vested interests including Go (via her husband Binga Pringle's son) - Pascoe - Hagpipantelis - the Penn family and Isaac Moses/Cove Agency.....

You have poor critical source assessment skills if you ever though he had any credibility!

Along with Chammas (SMH) & Carayannis - Read was the one of Lee's "boys" who he gave his exclusive interview to when he & Pascoe stood down following the HBG governance review...

He even mentioned all of them by name on his paid SEN spot saying "I like those boys"....

As soon as he said that - they should all have retired from journalism permanently!

It genuinely could be.

But it makes minimal sense, especially to relegate forwards who you have put years into to a drop like that unless you want to force an exit.

No info here, just passing the pub test.

Which this whole saga has not.

Can’t have Douehi ant 7 again. He was so slow and completely inept.
Having said that, he was never going to be an amazing halfback, so I thought it was obvious that Luai would have needed to completely take over.
He didn’t and we looked like crap.

IMO Benji and Luai took this game for granted. When it became obvious that the game plan needed changing, they did nothing.

I thought the sun shone out of Luai’s behind, but Mitch Moses ripped him a new one today.
Extremely disappointed.
You’re always going to notice a huge difference of play from a halfback that can kick well to a halfback that kicks moderately well. It took Benji around a decade for him to develop a long kick into his game. I pray that Luai can add one in by next season. Benji needs to reach out to Joey Johns. It’s no surprise that Moses’ kicking game improved out of sight the moment Joey joined their coaching staff.

it was a really great atmosphere but it is Parramatta home ground in Parramatta
happy to play other teams at combank for sure
I personally would prefer Accor as our main ground. Have preferred that ground over any others since the year that contract finished up.
In saying that though. The guys need to rise above it and beat Parra at their home, just has to be done!

Heavy security and a strict gag order dominated dumped Tigers star Lachlan Galvin’s demotion to NSW Cup on Easter Monday.

Galvin, who played in Western Suburbs’ 22-10 loss to Parramatta at Lidcombe Oval, had his own personal security guard for the entire day and refused to speak with the media.

He was chaperoned from the car park to dressing rooms, onto the field, and back into the sheds after fulltime.

The rising star even snuck out a back door behind the Lidcombe Oval dressing rooms to avoid media questions.

All Wests Magpies staff and players were instructed to avoid any media interviews. Even Galvin’s father, James, who attended the game, refused to speak with the reporters.

A security guard put his arm around Galvin walking to the dressing rooms post-game.

The 19-year-old defended on the left wing and tried to involve himself in attack. His kicking game was solid and he set up a late try, but his performance was modest in a losing side.

Late in the game, Galvin threw a lovely long ball to winger Izaac Tu’itupou, who scored a try.

Galvin received some light applause when his name was read to the 500-strong crowd pre-game.

He high-fived young fans as he walked off at halftime.

“I reckon he will be in first grade in one to two weeks,” said former Magpies hooker and current Wests board member Allan Fallah.

“I think he will see out his contract. People should just leave him alone.”

Galvin left the field at fulltime with a handful of fans yelling: ‘Well played Lachie’.

He played five-eighth after being dumped to NSW Cup by Wests Tigers coach Benji Marshall in consultation with his senior player group.

Playing before such a small yet passionate Magpies crowd was a long way from the massive numbers which filled CommBank Stadium for Monday’s NRL game between Wests Tigers and the Eels.

It would have been interesting to see how many Wests Tigers NRL players turned up to watch Galvin in the NSW Cup had they not been playing on the same day.

The Galvin saga started earlier last week when he rejected a five-year extension, plus upgrades, worth $6m.

Through his manager Isaac Moses, Galvin refused to even consider Wests Tigers offer.

Galvin was taunted on social media by teammates last week, prompting his management to fire off a legal letter to Wests Tigers alleging Galvin had been bullied and the club wasn’t providing a safe working environment.

While Wests Tigers have stated Galvin will play out his contract at Concord until after the 2026 season, it is becoming more likely he will seek and be granted an early release.

Galvin told the club he wasn’t progressing as a player under Marshall’s tuition. Parramatta continues to be strongly linked to Galvin along with the Bulldogs, Roosters and Sea Eagles.

Some clubs have publicly denied interest in Galvin but the landscape quickly changes in rugby league.

Marshall claimed he was “shocked” and “disappointed” at Galvin’s desire to leave Wests Tigers.

Parramatta’s NSW Cup side included established NRL players Ryan Matterson and Bryce Cartwright.

Theyre free to take up any offer from another club being demoted to below KOE
No one wants them however
Going out on a limb here, but could that potentially be an issue; a they have been pushed into grade where they can seek a release so that seems to be possibly the club forcing their hand a bit. But also possibly aggrieved given they are Top 30 players without a future contract and are not in a position or competition that gives them the opportunity to be demonstrate that.

Tonight's loss really hurts.
However, I think we forget Galvin.

He can play the year out in cup, until we can offload him in a trade deal.

If Latu is still injured,
Mason to 6.

AD didn't deliver tonight.
Back to centre.

Keep Galvin away from the squad.
He's expired goods.
Don't need his bad attitude rubbing off on others.
" i CaNt wAiT tO gEt oUt oF tHiS PlaCe!!1"
No thanks.

Sorry to not study these pieces of shite more closely. No I am not sorry, I am quite glad to not waste my time or brain capacity on this tribe. I noticed the other day when seeing these parasites in person how much a short dweeb Read actually is. Makes Riccio look tall, but he’s not.

I can’t believe they have influence in the sport. If you saw them out socially you’d think you’d just stumbled onto a used car salesman’s get together.

Heath Mason needs to be on the interchange, he’s so explosive off the mark and just what we needed over the last 20 minutes of the game (replacing Naden)

Or they can work harder and earn their spots back!

And man that’s giving the used car salesman a bad rap. You should have seen them all together kissing each others ass, pathetic really. Riccio looked at me to say ‘like who the [This word has been automatically removed] are you’. I thought to my self, how are u employed. Then I saw him drive away in a nice Audi, gee the worlds farked up!!

This Riccio?

In the light of the Galvin mess, is there any point in the WT spending even a cent on the juniors? It seems that the Tigers invest in juniors, get them up to scratch, and then they go on to help other clubs beat the Tigers over and over ... Paps, Moses, Teddy ... for how many years have we watched those guys orchestrating Tigers losses? They even lift against us.

Maybe Richo should tell the NRL that the Tigers can no longer afford to invest in juniors, if the best juniors are no help to the club. Why invest in juniors for other clubs to benefit? Might as well be like the Rorters and use our money to poach talent. Once Galvin goes, all of the best players in the team will be from Penrith.

Threatening to pull the plug on the juniors might be the only way to get the NRL to listen and stop this blatant manipulating of contract rules.

This is why it is important Galvin sees out his contract. A pressure point for the Galvin team is the very real threat of injury. Rejecting a $5m plus offer over 5 years to take up an offer for 2027 is a huge gamble. It is not a risk I would make unless I had a guarantee.😒
