OFFICIAL Lachlan Galvin #277 *Released* Career Discussion.

Only based on observation of TDM's vlogs ... May, Turuva, Luai, Pole, Skelton, To'a & Royce seem pretty tight. Bird, Naden, Sam & Sione Fainu get amongst them. Api & Bula seem fairly reserved but amongst them. Twal, Doeuihi & Seyfarth seem pretty close. The others are the younger ones or the T&Ts so they probably hang together a bit.
Hopefully on the other days it’s phones away and all business.

Tallyn doesn't strike me as the sort of guy that's screaming the house down for more minutes - I think he understands the position he's in and the opportunity to learn from one of the best hookers in the game.

I think there would be a plan for him to have more and more minutes from next season on, and I would imagine Benji has made that clear to him.

Not really stressing about it, looks like a Tiger through and through.

I agree, I don't think its about wanting to start or wanting more minutes immediately. I personally think it's more to do with Tallyn wanting to understand what the plan with his development moving forward and how that fits in with Api re-signing.

I assume hes asking questions like, if Api signs for 27' will I be the starting hooker for 27' and Api will be off the bench? will that transition start in 26? Will Api or I be expected to play some 13, and if so who out of the two?.... All of which are valid questions for a young player to be asking before committing long term.

Brown went to manly bcoz his mate Les went there. 🤷‍♂️
I reckon Gal is going to parra bcoz it’s his childhood club. And a lot said the same thing about that.
Isn’t there some saying about death and taxes being the only certainty. I would be prepping for all situations.
Tallyn has been in and around the playing group for a while now and seems like a great clubman. He and Galvin are clearly close friends. Rather than TDS following Galvin there’s a small chance Galvin stays long term to play with TDS. He’d have to take unders though as we’d have moved on cap wise.

I’d like to see us do a player friendly deal with Api where he gets less but stays on to support / mentor TDS. Limited minutes on fair coin. Prolong his career.

Also sign May and Luai long term (5 years no clauses) as they’ll attract other talent.

Up to camp Galvin to go to Parra and win spoons. Or wake up.

Im not even sure a premiership this year would convince Galvin to stay

He's not, he is managed by Tartak who has a good relationship with the Tigers. He has Bird, Feledy, Makasini, Taupau-Moors, all 3 Fainus and Laulilii brothers all at the club. Most of those guys have signed or re-signed recently.

TDS is very close with Galvin but I dont think that will impact him leaving. The Api re-signing will play a bigger role. Richo has said that Tallyn loves the club and doesn't want to leave. The only issue is playing time.

Also, when Terrell May scored against the Eels he did the 'salute' celebration which I thought was a gesture towards Benji. Tallyn did the same celebration after he scored at Leichhardt, so he seems to get along with the group very well.
Think it was more an Anzac thing!

I seen that pic and a couple of others like it. Let’s hope TDS is his own man and not a sheep.
I’m just saying we should be prepping to cover both situations.

I'm not trying to put the boot in, but that long break for a try to Kennedy down the sideline in the second half....there are Tigers players throwing themselves all over the place & then there is our 5/8 that was closest to #20, didn't lay a hand on him & didn't participate in the defensive scramble afterwards either...and the Billy Burns runs through his tackle for his try...

Compare that to Naden taking Stonestreet out to keep the scores 18-18. Or Bula surfacing in two tackles to deny tries. Or To'a. Or Turuva. Yes- he had a spectacular tackle on Hazelton & has to get credit.

His defence/effort is the weakest part of his game- and we have ridden Doueihi into the dirt for less.
Forgetting the tackle that saved the game?

I may be looking too much into this but the lack of Lachlan bar 2 seconds anywhere in Terrell May latest Vlog is concerning. Maybe he is just going teenager hiding in corner who knows.
Is Seyfarth in them much?

I cant watch much of it I skip 5 minutes, watch 15 seconds, skip another 5 or 10 mins...watch a little ...i find it not very interesting

There isn't alot with all the youngsters. No Latu, very little of TDS, Luke L, Kit L. So I reckon the younger ones have their own little group, as do the Habibi's and so do the gangster types.....its natural for there to be groups within the group.
