It was already mentioned he had a hand injury but he was good to play.Apparently Galvin has been playing with a broken hand. His manager Moses has tried to get us to stop him playing. Because we haven’t obliged the goose has now leaked it to the media making his client a target for further injury. What an absolute goose.
We have a wonderful record with managing players injury and recovery.Apparently Galvin has been playing with a broken hand. His manager Moses has tried to get us to stop him playing. We’ve know this for weeks now.Apparently Galvin has been playing with a broken hand. His manager Moses has tried to get us to stop him playing. Because we haven’t obliged the goose has now leaked it to the media making his client a target for further injury. What an absolute goose.
All clubs have players who play with injury. Well documented when teams are winning and it comes out that a player played with injury. We have a wonderful record with managing players injury and recovery.
Get the 18yo to play through a broken hand, get Api to play through injury and release his back-up. Have lost 8 in a row and sitting equal last on the ladder.
No wonder we are a destination club.
If you put your bias’ aside for a minute, if we are playing him with a broken hand, that‘s pretty weak and indicative of where we are as a club.Apparently Galvin has been playing with a broken hand. The kids 18 with a long career ahead of him. Earning a lot less than some of the others next to him & the club is asking him to play busted for what purpose? All clubs have players who play with injury. Well documented when teams are winning and it comes out that a player played with injury.
It is obvious where this is coming from. He has a commodity that is worth something and he will do every thing he can to line his pockets from it.
I get where you are coming from but has the club asked him to play? Or does he want to play? If the injury can't get worse and he wants to play, it's not hindering his game and will heal anyway, why stop him? If it was a soft tissue injury then this would be a different conversation. The kids 18 with a long career ahead of him. We are not making the finals this year.
Of all the juniors that the club constantly talks up as being the best since 2005, he is about the only one that looks better than a fringe first grader.
This came out a couple of weeks ago, don't know who said I but his Manager is a goose.Apparently Galvin has been playing with a broken hand. His manager Moses has tried to get us to stop him playing. Their is a motive behind sharing this information in a negative way and your reaction is exactly the response that it was aimed for. You can back that but I will give the club/ doctors the benefit at this point. The kids 18 with a long career ahead of him. Lachlan himself at 18/19 would just be in awe of playing NRL and for Benji. His parents have a close association with the club.I don't put a lot of weight into what 360 says.
That said, if the rumours have any basis, he's asked to be released beginning of the year, parents 'demanding' a path be set out for him to consider the value of staying, and now angling for a release later in the year?
All this, in one season?
Is this what it's going to be like every season- pander to him in order to retain him?
If there is any truth to these rumours, he sounds like a potential long-term headache.
Not heard a peep from Latu in that time.
Yes I have been advocating for him to have a rest for a few weeks now. Go back and win the Flegg comp. Take TDS and some of the others with him and create a winning combination. Bring them through together next year. The kids 18 with a long career ahead of him. Earning a lot less than some of the others next to him & the club is asking him to play busted for what purpose?

As good as playing NRL must be as an 18/19 year old, I think getting smashed every week and on target for the spoon again can't be good for their development, not to mention their mental health. I agree, put them all in the one team, and bring them through together, with some wins behind them, too.Yes I have been advocating for him to have a rest for a few weeks now. Remember when Tony Adams was a somewhat credible journo, before he was reduced to writing how clubs were “begging” their own players to play through injury. If they’ve asked him to, I think that’s poor form from the club, but to use a term like ”begging” is used solely to generate clicks and be as sensationalist as possible. You wouldn’t piss on journos like that. The Tigers have begged Galvin to play through the pain and the 18-year-old has been happy to help the club out.
That was me alrightas an 18/19 year old, I think getting smashed every week
