Thats why they not buying him????? Afterall Bud is technically a free agent... and only England is interested??.. but to keep an open mind... Vicious... under their tutelage... anything is possible.... good point...

Interesting to hear Chammas on Radio yesterday say that it was Galvin and his family pushing this and not Isaac Moses in this instance (Chammas even mentioned that he's usually hard on Moses and the way he does business, but it's the rare occasion where Moses isn't the initiator).

Once you look into Galvins history you can start to see a clear pattern emerge... He moved junior clubs a couple times until he landed at the most successful club in South-west Sydney for his age. He moved from Parra to Wests HM who were the best team in that age group (won the Harold Matts comp). He also attended Westfield Sports High which is currently regarded as the best Rugby League school. As soon as Tigers signed Luai, the family immediately wanted him moved without even waiting to see if it would truly block his path (which it didnt)

Rightly or wrongly (however you look at it), there is a pattern where his parents will move Lachie around putting him in the most successful teams/clubs available at the time. However it seems as soon as ANYTHING goes wrong, or there is a better option available, the solution is to move Lachie instead of sticking it out or being patient.

That was great from Joey.

What we should do is hire Joey to come in and coach him in the halves, assuming Galvin agrees to a long term deal.
 
Galvin reminds me of Curtis Sironen and Ryan Matterson...large ,stand out no 6 playmakers at junior level,but when they eventually grew into their bodies,they were simply too slow to play in that position
Hes 92 kgs now,but needs to bulk up to fill his 6/3 frame
He will always be a very good footballer,just like those two were..and maybe better...but his future is in the pack ....somewhere
 
In the immediate future the club has three choices and Galvin has none

The club can do nothing and watch him walk out the door in 2.5 seasons
The club can upgrade his current deal and hope to change his mind over the next couple of seasons with probably less than 50% chance of pulling it off

The club can broker a deal with another club for a player or multiple players in a exchange deal.

Personally I would opt for no1, we need to send a loud message that we don’t just roll over to this stuff any more

Great podcast, I love listening to it.
Its hard who to believe when it comes to truth and transparency, I like Chammas, he gives it to Gus on a regular basis and doesn't really care who likes him and who doesn't, he seems honest, especially when he said he is usually tough on Moses. Paul Crawley and Dave Riccio were speaking along similar lines of what Chammas said on 360 this week. I don't really know much about player agents but I was very surprised when a mate of mine involved at Newtown said to me this week, not to believe everything that is said regarding Moses and also that there was a reason why so many players are with him, I couldn't believe how many players he actually has. I started thinking that there is always two sides to a story and him having that many players is because he does the right thing by his players which is actually his job. I just wish our club benefited from it in a positive way.

I'm sure Miller, Kit, TDS and even Alex Isdale and Mason seemed to have the greatest influence on that Harold Matthews team. Galvin parked himself on the left and played his role but wasn't the standout. Correct me if mim wrong

All the clubs choices have so far turned into our present situation..... maybe we have to roll over, to our Ego.
