OFFICIAL Lachlan Galvin #277 *Released* Career Discussion.

To put this to bed , I am 100% certain that if Galvin did say in the dressing room he wanted out , at some stage the players will leak it out in time . As for him saying I want to stay , I think Richo made it clear UNDER no circumstance will u be released, so he had no other avenue but to say I am staying , the fact he had refused a contract update and more money suggests to me , he still wants out . Just my read on events , BUT I bet the real story will come out sooner than later

Seems logical to me that Galvin said he just wanted to focus on footy and left the other stuff to his agent and parents. Hence he hasn't been involved in any of the discussions with the club.
He likely said he just wanted to focus on footy and wanted to play on a winning team and compete for premierships..

Issac being Isaac took this as a chance to get another client out of our club. The dad sees us losing and is happy if his son can get a gig elsewhere.

Galvin actually appreciates the coach and playing with his mates, his parents and agent don't care about these things. In the end Lachy needs to speak up as he's made to look like a fool in the media and says he'll stay and wants to be part of the future at WT.

Ideally he'll extend and take the raise, if this is what he wants this will probably get done in the coming months. Or he stays on his lowly contract and waits to see how things go with Luai at the helm and maybe waits another 12 months before deciding his longer term future.

In the end I think he needs to grow up and take control of his own career. Tell his parents to help him invest his money but that ultimately he will decide where he plays and get his agent to get him the best deal possible. To be fair it's been a whirlwind 6 months for the kid, these changes usually happen more gradually so there's time to plan and mature.

I do make some assumptions here, but the only public quotes attributed to Lachy over the past couple of months have been positive and wanting to build something here with his mates at WT, hopefully this is the truth when it comes down to it.

Think she’s a bit overrated myself
With or without makeup I wouldn’t kick her out of bed for farting. 😁

LG on the other hand, I don’t see a superstar, I see a solid first grader probably a star but not a future immortal. Not even sure he will play SOO or for Australia. Having said all of that glad he is staying.

Let’s worry about where he is going to be after we have had a decent look at him.

Smart play by Galvin he has no choice. Now count on managers greed to upgrade contract 2 years and add on two. Will happen in my view. Moses, Teddy, Woods etc didn’t bail this quick. Brooks stuck around 10 years.

Well said BB

The recent events surrounding Lachie has definitely left a sour taste in the mouths of many Wests Tigers fans including myself.
Based off his first few NRL games and interactions with the fans during our 2 wins, I thought he come across as young kid who would do anything for the jersey and be a long term club legend.
Regardless of who’s at fault and I understand being in a team that loses every week is not real appealing, but does Lachie not understand he’s been apart of this team for the majority of our losses ?
This now puts him and his performances under the spotlight more than ever, let’s see how he responds.
