Probarbly not, though in terms of being professional it is what they are supposed to be prioritising in relation as the major stake holders of the Wests Tigers.

He has Luai coming to partner him next year and still,won’t take the upgrade and extension , that’s not a guy we need , we need players who want to be hear , look at Stef , he has clocked off and I would say no club has the $ 800 for him next year so he will stay for next season then be at one of the top clubs in 26. Can't stand Gould but if I'm Holman Barnes Group I'm offering him everything I can to entice him to come back to coaching.

He knows football, from every angle , and whilst he can be a smug shit it’s coz he always knows what he’s doing and what angle he’s working.

Gould has been at the Dogs for 3 years and this is the first year they haven't been rubbish - that's not a criticism it's a reality of how long it takes - Richo joined in January

I just had a thought. I would think that Benji would have come cheaper than most experienced coaches such as Flanagan. Benji would also bring in more eyeballs and more sponsor money. Hiring Benji seems more of a business decision than a winning decision.

Maybe politis was wrong. Winning isn't always good for business?

Oh yes it is, the whole organisation works better when winning, especially sponsors and fans , they love it.
Benjis honeymoon is almost over, reality settling in now. He’ll be lucky to get another year at the rate we’re going.

Great point. I personally thing it was a snap decision from a desperate board who were rejected by Ciraldo so did it to try to change the basket case narrative and Gove us fans a feel good story.

Totally agree, it was always going to be either a master stroke or an absolute disaster appointing him. It's looking like the latter atm.

You have to understand, we would never be able to get Gould even if we wanted to.

The NRL would cite a conflict of interest due to his media interests.

We are running last in the Comp and so far I haven’t seen this kid go missing,
Pity most of the others don’t share his same attitude.

Patience is tough isn’t it!
This whole new path with Benji and then Richo is still very early in the making. As fans we want results so it’s hard to watch the process.
As pointed out, Gould did take a few years to get results at the Dogs with the changes they initiated.
We must keep the faith and hope that we are on the right track - as true fans of the Tigers there is little else we can do.
In the meantime, for me I think it will be easier to cope with if I dial down my emotional investment and my expectations for the rest of this season. Stop letting the results of a footy game affect my mood for 3 days every week!

3 days is good. For others its a life time of pain. They invest their life into a football team. They pin their hopes of a football team making their life happy. Their dream alive cause maybe they dont have dreams of their own. You are pretty strong TigerSJ.
