OFFICIAL Lachlan Galvin #277 *Released* Career Discussion.

I know

I’ve emailed Richo a month ago saying give him $1m for ten years with ratchets

And emailed the club on Monday offering 3rd party $$ support but ONLY for galvin.

Have a meeting with Betsy next week I think
sounds like your got your nose into some crack also .lol

No.

I don’t agree.

I agree latu is very very special

But galvin is fierce

He wants the ball every play and doesn’t care if he pisses off any player in our team old or young

Latu looks more “nice” on the field

Glavin doesn’t give a sh*t who you are

That’s the difference

Talent silkyness yeah latu

But galvin is a killer - you can’t coach that

You have it or you don’t

Tom Brady has it

Micheal jordan had it

It’s in their DNA - it has nothing to do with talent or skill … it’s the competitive nature
Jesus Christ lol….I don’t think he’s gay mate.

@tigermate I 100% agree with you that Galvin is a one of a kind superstar but you are extremely underselling Latu Fainu… this kid is on the same level as Galvin talent wise & have no doubt if we seen him from round 1 we’d be ooing & ahhing the same we have about Galvin with him.
No doubting both Galvin and Latu are highly talented.
You simply cannot move Galvin from 5/8 unless he has a massive form slump, therefore we are hopefully selling it to Latu that he will be a regular in our 17 and possibly interchange with Galvin between 6 and 13 when they are both on the field.
Latu could possibly play as our regular starting 13, but I don’t think it’s fair to him or his body making 40 tackles every week, so being our 14 and interchanging with Galvin should still allow him to showcase his talent on a regular basis.

I have just poured my Coolabah Trad Red over my tea leaves - Galvin and Luai win the GF for the next 5 years. Luai The Next Immortal and Galvin just gets better. Tigers to break The Dragons 11 year winning streak! .... Coolabah Casks have strong side effects. Drink in Moderation ... if only my GPS knew where Moderation was!

Massive call. I’ll watch this space.

Galvin was sublime for a period in the second half where everyone running off him was put into space. I haven't seen him play in the zone like that before.

I’ve watched hours of tape of this kid since he was 16. tonight was quite possibly the best I’ve ever seen him with ball in hand.

if Skelton, Turuva and Olam were in the backline he would’ve had seven try involvements. I’m dead serious.

whatever it takes, lock him up.

I agree. He’ll also be more of a running threat when defenders need to worry about our outside men. Get back to the negotiating table Richo.

With the emergence of Latu as another elite young playmaker and ideally wanting all 3 of Luai, Galvin and Latu Fainu in our run on team, would a radical approach such as naming Latu as a centre, him defending as a centre, but playing in attack as a fullback with Bula attacking as a centre work ?
I just think with the right players around them an attacking centre piece combination of Luai, Galvin and Latu would be very hard to stop.

Well that’s a worry because he was very erratic, panicky and scatter gun with his ball playing tonight. I thought he tried too hard to be the hero.
Don’t get me wrong, he did some wonderful things, but he made some poor decisions…running himself into touch, the forward pass in a try scoring opportunity, some of his kicks…very desperate to impress rather than calmly icing the game.
Latu on the other hand…that guy is superbly talented and with some fine tuning could be great. His try assist for Seyfarth is the best I’ve seen from any half in this club since the days Benji was running wild.

Lachlan got a lot of praise last night, especially from the media.

I thought it was one of his weaker showings despite some brilliance mixed in.

Took the wrong options a bunch of times.

Happy with the win though and believe he'll go up a gear next year and we'll see an even better Lachy though.

Yeah I an agree he had some moments of absolute brilliance but he also made some choices he would regret.

We have to remember at the end of the game we had 2 very inexperienced half’s playing together trying to close out a game vsing tommy turbo.

Galvin and latu would be leading so much about game management at the moment

The future could possibly be bright people
