I dont see why its an automatic assumption that him wanting to shop around = he wants to leave.
Threads full of mind readers.
He may say he wants to wait....see whats offered from other clubs over summer and come back and.accept our offer...impossible apprently though i dont see why

In these specific circumstances, we know that he asked for a release several times last seaaon…so it’s hardly a stretch to think he might actually end up leaving …

The vast majority of the time, when the player wants to test the market it means they plan to leave ….

I’m sure he knows now through his agent what the other offers are likely to be …

BTW - regardless of what others are saying here , until he formally says otherwise , I’ll hold out some hope that he takes the WT offer…

In addition …Benji and Richo have still got a football team to run this year , so they need to make the best decisions both in the short and medium term to get the best results possible ..

So was his training and coaching and the fact he signed Bateman to a 4 year deal plus transfer fee.Completely out of touch with the modern game and should never have been signed again.
He was perfectly cast as the Football GM before management messed around with it.

Once again implemented great pathways structures that the club benefits from.

Hiring him to be Head Coach turned out a poor decision- but should have been moved back to his original role as soon as the error was realised.

A club with Richo as the driver & Sheens' knowledge would be a dangerous combination.

I actuality thought that the 2 knuckleheads running the club had finally made a smart move. Then they made him coach! LOL.
they were soooo close.

Looking at Souths, let's not forget we still have Bud Sullivan on contract for 2 years from next year.

If he actually plays good there under Bennett, it'll be interesting. Either way, we will have his money to spend next year

The problem id say ( and I know nothing about more then I should ) is if Latu is " the back up " option. He was signed for 4 years so him, Jerome ( even saying he isn't interested in other clubs he has those clauses )and Galvin can all talk to other clubs November 1 I'm fairly sure.
Sure we have next yr as a buffer but that's alot of spine and options and dollarydoos at a lot of tables all at once.
