OFFICIAL Lachlan Galvin #277 *Released* Career Discussion.

THen we are just pushovers

At what point do we dig our heels in and have a backbone?
Taking a player ina position of need is fine , it’s not push over it’s negotiating, , I would take a solid back row player for him as trade as it would be on our terms EG
Kai Pierce Paul. Let’s say he on $ 500. , Galvin on $ 250 , we take him give them Gal,but they kick in 100 k to do the deal we get a player in position form$ 150 k , we are in front as Galvin remember doesn’t want to be hear the other player does.

I can guarantee you his team mates don't think the same, they understand it

You've never left a job for more money or a potential of a higher position? It's just business.

But yes, you can think whatever you like of him lol

His teammates opinion doesn’t concern me. I’m not interested in their social life, I’m here to support a team.

My personal life is irrelevant and so is your position. He’s not leaving for financial reasons. If he was I’d be more sympathetic. According to the statement he wasn’t interested in negotiating with us.

Yeah cheers champ. Appreciate your green light to have an opinion.

Benji will keep picking Galvin if form warrants it, prior to this he was almost undroppable because of his contract situation and the way its played out.
For me we keep picking him and if his form drops and Latu is playing well and injury free you give him all the opportunities we gave Galvin. I thought it was a pretty big statement from Benji a couple of weeks ago saying he needed to find a spot for Latu in the 17 he's too good for ressies.
I have a suspicion that all the attention on Galvin has a few noses out of joint the media always ask Luai about Galvin i seem to think his answers are mostly flat batted back. Maybe he does prefer to have Latu as his partner he see them both at training.
Either way im glad this is done as good as he's been he's been nothing but trouble his head is too big.

You're so bitter! I'm literally just trying to have conversation

Very emotionally invested. Maybe take a break buddy, seems like you could use it.

Well we have been moving players on and freeing up space and dollars. For not a lot more then we were going to pay Galvin (and in some cases, less) we can make a play for :/

Jerome Hughes
DCE
Staggs
Joey Manu
Haas

And ant the same time, extend Douehi who loves the club and covers multiple positions .

No, your starting position is “you don’t understand how things work”. If you want to talk fine, I can do without the condescension.

If the show goes on- we win games, and nobody makes a thing of it- there will be noise.

But not as much as dropping him to KOE & not getting results.

I think more than 50% of the population will understand players moving on. If the club can show backbone here & carry on performing professionally- winning will cure all.

What we need is for Latu to out play Galvin.
I’m not sure about that . It’s pretty risky as a strategy form his management . Like if AD comes in hypothetically and we keep winning . Or if Latu comes back and we keep winning . What happens if the attack clicks under either if we drop him .
Surely the narrative around lachie will be all flash , no results . It’s not a long bow to draw to reference how much we shat the bed when Latu got injured last week . And it was the Lachie Galvin show .
I will say this . If i was Benji. I’d literally say to the halves room , best man wins the 6. Whereas Lachie would have had time and patience applied and gotten some leeway for poor results , there’s absolutely zero reason you afford that to him now Z if he’s the best man . Cool , but if he’s not … then he gets dropped .

Please remember that Galvin (and or his management) requested a release 3 times last year. Imagine requesting a release after the club gave you a 1st grade debut at 18 years of age.

We know Isaac Moses is a low human, but you dont have to be a genius to figure out Galvin and his family are just the same. They are unappreciative, ungrateful humans and have treated the club, Benji and us fans like shit.

Disgraceful. Ill be boooing the ungrateful, entitled little princess at every opportunity on easter Monday!

It has been nice that the club hasn't been in the headlines this season. Well, that's over. Hope this doesn't derail our season, just as things were starting to look up. Big challenge ahead for Benji.
I agree.

But this very action will keep us out of the Galvin circus now. Waiting until Nov 1 wouldve dragged the whole saga out all season.

I am gutted our new bright dawn is starting to dim & why??? . Wests should like Easts should not negotiate with Moses he is bad news & the more clubs that refuse to deal with him the quicker we get him out of our game. As others have said lets move on start Latu with Galvin off the bench.
