OFFICIAL Lachlan Galvin #277 *Released* Career Discussion.

That kick he tried on the 2nd or 3rd behind Mulitalo was such a crazy play.....

No one knew it was coming.
He's lucky we got the ball back, otherwise it'd be spray worthy.

I know Benji has allowed him to play what he sees, but some structure wouldn't hurt either.
He is like that kid in the under 9’s who is playing right wing but just runs around behind the ball all game. And then when there is a stoppage in the play he starts doing cartwheels and chasing butterflies.

He won't regret it and will quickly move on like Mitch Moses did. Richardson has reaffirmed the club's position that he will see out his contract. A player swap would involve having to deal with Moses. What club would give up a quality player with the market so tight and new clubs on the horizon? I prefer to trust Richardson and Marshall to identify and recruit a quality player we need. As for the tackle on Hazelton, yes it was good but what about the appalling attempt on the Sharks' winger which resulted in a try? I commented at the time Laurie Daley would have bent that winger in half.
There’s an angle mate where you can see he is full stretch and barely gets a finger on him. Our defense was all over the place and that play should have been stopped on our right side.

The one in the second half on their second rower was a poorer attempt.

You believe I'm being harsh but this is a comment from a Shark supporter in relation to the Dally M Points - "Missed two tackles for two tries but did stop Tommy at the death"

My guess we will hang on to him for this season and part company at the end of the year. That will give them a full pre season to bed in Latu. I also expect it would involve some sort of compensation from the mystery club he is going to…Parra

Of course could be wrong, but that way the club is been seen as strong by not buckling to Moses straight away. It will also give the media circus time to pack up and move on
If we go down that path, I actually think we should do what the Roosters did with May and just release him the day before Nov 1. That way we don’t get caught up with the whole (who is he going to sign with, when will the Tigers release him, how are they going to go next year etc) a clean break from him after the season and prior to next pre season would be best for US.

I’ll back my own eyes over some random supporter. We never should have let their winger storm through a massive hole up the middle. The damage was caused way earlier than Galvin’s attempt to solve it.

Thankfully we see far less of that rubbish this year.

I'm not trying to put the boot in, but that long break for a try to Kennedy down the sideline in the second half....there are Tigers players throwing themselves all over the place & then there is our 5/8 that was closest to #20, didn't lay a hand on him & didn't participate in the defensive scramble afterwards either...and the Billy Burns runs through his tackle for his try...

Compare that to Naden taking Stonestreet out to keep the scores 18-18. Or Bula surfacing in two tackles to deny tries. Or To'a. Or Turuva. Yes- he had a spectacular tackle on Hazelton & has to get credit.

His defence/effort is the weakest part of his game- and we have ridden Doueihi into the dirt for less.

You’re reaching mate. The last thing we need to do as a fan base is invent reasons to criticise him. I noticed Naden was walking when the field goal hit the post. You could find examples in anyone’s game.

Whoever the outside defender was prior to the Galvin effort...white compression on his leg, pink boots & tape around his head....his effort was why there was a try scored. Awful. Royce Hunt maybe?

Without watching it over, we went to sleep as a defensive unit momentarily. Defense is about staying connected and I’d be more inclined to educate the whole team rather than an individual if I was breaking it down.

Edit: couldn’t help myself. Too many defenders stopped moving forward, no one individual to blame.

I’ve watched all of his nrl games and have never seen that level of urgency and commitment in his defence. After 27 games, why now? Hysterical strength induced by previous events and the hill urgings? He’s played at LO before. Interestingly a round 3 game against Sharks where he did not miss a tackle. Whatever the reasoning, hope Richo can get use back to LO.

He’s quite obviously in with Moses. He tries hard to be subtle but he’s just embarrassing himself now.
Quite clearly knows the full Moses side of story but the way he said sheepishly “I didn’t make a call today”, was weak.

Just be upfront, your mate is trying to force an outcome that’s against NRL rules. He’s got form.

Isaac’s mouthpiece saying Lachlan’s bullying claims not going away on NRL360.

Maybe Abdo can piss him and the bunker off.
He also said he hadnt put in a phone call...

I think he was trying to say that once it's been put out there and submitted, it's hard to retract.
