OFFICIAL Lachlan Galvin #277 *Released* Career Discussion.

Just a bulldogs PR job pumping up Gus as a good guy .. expect nothing less from Weiner.

As someone mentioned above, maybe Gus and Ciraldo should take some responsibility for throwing him into a team leading the comp mid season, to play a position he's never played before... Galvin was a science experiment and it's blown up in their faces - so they are blaming the passionate bulldogs fans who are upset they made such a dumb decision..
It was so bloody obvious this was going to happen...I mentioned it in a comment soon after he went over to the dogs. He was set up to fail in that system, he should have played out the season in KOE and then found his place in pre season for 26. The problem is he wants to be a 7 and we never saw him as a 7, we played him at 6 to protect him as his body developed with a view to moving him to 13 or the back row. He and his family did not want this and now they are copping it, its hard to be sympathetic.

I recall listening to the Bloke in a bar podcast where he had Galvin on...he asked him about social media and Galvin said he is all over it and reads everything posted about him. you also need to understand that this generation actually communicate with each other through SM so its very difficult for them to disconnect.
Yeah I know....thats why I said :

and i know how crucial it is for young people these days

Water off a duck's back for that snidely upstart I reckon, probably thinks it's the rest of the team's fault their form is dwindling.

If they get flogged next game the feral dog's supporters won't know which picture to put up on the dartboard first, Galvin, Ciraldo or Gould.
The way he looks at his teammates when he throws a bludger of a pass and they drop it, pretty much sums up his attitude. Maybe its a superpower that allows him to keep his confidence levels high as its always someone else's fault.

Gould is a piece of work. He is mostly responsible for the crap that Galvin is now facing then gets his mate to write about his "infamous Chinese meal" attempt to show a duty of care.
Everyone knows the Bulldogs fans are loud vocal and have little tolerance for failure. They turned a team that was humming into the Galvin show and now think a Gould Chinese meal will make his role in all of that less responsible.

Not up to it.

But my main gripe is - all this BS media hype about how good a coach Ciraldo is, when he's persisted with a Burton/Galvin combo for months now and Bulldogs have been on the decline.

Mid-match he's forced to recall Sexton and push Burton to centres - and suddenly Bulldogs are a real and constant threat. Galvout being a passenger and Sexton instead the one asking questions of the defence.

The media is now trying to tell us that team Galvin are now being targeted for the Dogs drop in form and he is just a kid on the very start of a long career. That would be okay if he and his management were upfront and honest, but they reverted to rubbish tactics to get out of the Tigers and said some terrible things. Galvins no Mr nice guy, he deserves plenty

100%. Galvin is at the start of a very long career and somehow he could clearly tell that he wasn't going to flourish at WTs under Benji. He seemed to be on a pretty good trajectory with us and that direction has changed massively. Everyone knows little Lachie wanted his dream premiership this year and thats all this was about. He probably would've had a better chance of devopling at Parra than the Dogs but theyre still hot and cold. I actually think Parra will be higher up the ladder than the Dogs next year.

The amount of love for Ciraldo considering the dogs form is mind boggling.

He single handedly derailed the dogs season.. they are 2 from 7 since Galvin replaced sexton, and one of those wins was against a NSW cup panthers side..

As Ive said plenty of times, the bulldogs PR is amazing... it is something we should copy and paste... I wouldn't be surprised if they are using AI to help with the strategy either... Gould's been quite open that they use ai for everything .

I haven’t exaggerated anything. Just because you don’t know about it doesn’t mean it wasn’t said and that was the point I was making before you arrogantly interjected saying I was lying.
I have heard that it did happen, via a few people but a bit less dramatic than the way it was explained on here.
IMO it happened, the people who mentioned it wouldnt have made it up.

I remember it being something like "you do you and I'll do me," which honestly doesn't surprise me if he said it. That said, I can see how it wouldn’t have gone over well in a team environment. I don’t think he meant it the way it sounded... I think he’s a bit of a jerk, but he probably meant it more in relation to his contract situation rather than team dynamics. It’s easy to see how it could have been misunderstood.
