I’ve noticed the same with him, and I’m not sure if it’s just immaturity or something else. Halves usually seem more switched on, able to communicate effectively and help those around them understand. His performances on Bloke in a Bar, the preseason boot camp, behind the roar and general interviews caught me off guard—they came across as quite one-dimensional and immature in his responses. He talks about being a footy head and watching every game, yet when he is asked about a certain play or strategy, he just shrugs his shoulders or gives a very vanilla response.
