OFFICIAL Lachlan Galvin #277 *Released* Career Discussion.

There was a great pic a few weeks back of a few dogs players at the dog track, with Gould. Galvins dad was in the background.

This isn't under 12's mate. Go home and let your son be.
Maybe he is one of those parents who are trying to live there life in the kids footsteps because they see themselve as a failure and have had an underwhelming life and just want some life experiences

I never get that stat. Sure, there needs to be level of effort, but the real stat is meters per run - how effective you are. A large number of meters can just mean you never pass.
Exactly
Just like when someone gets an intercept and runs 80 metres,
There stats look good.
A coach should be able to make a judgement on any players form why watching the game live, and a replay the day after without been given a list of useless stats.

The real stat is what your teammates and coaches think about you. He's burned 2 before even playing 50 games in the NRL.

He will probably mature as he gets older but he'll always be a prick in my eyes.

Galvin is not a Halfback, he is not a 5/8, nor is he a lock. Galvin still needs to play Flegg, then Koe Cup he is about 18 months short of experience. There is no room for him to grow and make mistakes, because the hype train went to overdrive to quickly. Newcastle attacked Galvin and his game got exposed badly.

Agree with all this champion @Bellend - but how has this frenzy that surrounds #Galvout taken off and continues to dominate all footy games that he plays.
I've never seen this for any player like it is for this reserve grader .......

Geez you can tell who gives Read the beat handies ….. goes hard to defend Seibold …..mmmmm I wonder who’s connected to that guy …. Goes mega hard to defend Galvin …… mmmmm I wonder why that is ? Does he have stock in cove management or something . Or is a Moses married to his kid or something … could you be anymore transparent 🤦‍♂️

Everybody is figuring it out . Gameplan against the doggies is simple. Galvin wants to run… let him run .he can have all the metres 250? 300? Get those stats up BUDDY!!!! meanwhile teams are backing themselves to get the points to win the game .EXACTLY how teams gameplanned Hastings. Get those 100 touches a game my guy ..and absolutely kill your teams attack.

When podcasters were discussing who Galvin would join after us, they all said the same thing - a Burton and Galvin combo wouldn't work, so he probably won't go there. Seems like everyone except Gus, Ciraldo and his Dad were aware of this. I agree on your point, you don't even need to pressure him, you just let him run sideways until he runs out of space.

Even if he makes metres right . Teams just hold him up , control him and then ultimately flip him on his back once the defence is set . He gets a 12m run for super coach … OoOoOOooO. Maybe they even give him a half break .
The lines set , and he kills the next play . Usually a Burton kick, as guys apply pressure and limit his time and space , after a slow play the ball . Funnily enough if his dad actually knew what he was talking about , he would have left his son stay here , as Benji was trying to get the team pushing up around the crab runs and build on the back of it with second phase . Ciraldo wants to play Penrith lite from 2 years ago . Penrith arnt even doing that anymore .

Very ironic that he moved to get better development and now he looks over-coached and has lost his natural instincts.
