LACK of Home 'DAY' Games- LEICH & CAMPB.

Anyone else bummed over this. Last Game at Leichardt announced, 2 Sydney Teams, i thought for sure would be another day game at Leich. BUT NO it's a Saturday night. Tickets for Rd.15 Leich.,v's Storm on the Sun have outsold Rd.13 Leich. on the Mon.. Also last Campbelltown game, Rd.25, has to be a day game surely. No days at Campb. so far????!!!
 
All Leichhardt games should be on a sunday afternoon IMO, great atmosphere especially on a sunny day. Campbo doesn't bother me as much as it is closer to home although no matter where it is, Monday nights are a pain.

nope im not. leichhardt oval shouldnt get all the day games

The NRL is never going to bend over backwards to give a team more Sunday home games. It's not fair to the other 15 clubs.

p^&s off MNF and the extra game on Friday night and play them both on Saturday afternoon…rediculous out of 8 games a round only 2 are played in daylight hrs....im a big fan of Saturday afternoon footy and would love it brough back...hopefully it comes back when the TV rights are up
 
The game is reliant on tv ratings, not sunny Sunday afternoons. The expectation should be 1 afternoon match at c'town and leichhardt. Leichhardt does not have a mortgage on Sunday afternoons. If you feel that is the case, go support manly. They are constantly complaining about lack of day matches as their ground is awful and no one wants to attend in the evening

Saturday arvos doesn't work, all the kids who attend the games are playing their footy. 3 Sunday arvo games and a Sunday evening game, along with 3 Saturdays and a Friday is good.

The game is reliant on supporters of it who then determine ratings by watching it. If there were no supporters then forget your ratings. You are right the game is not reliant on sunny Sunday afternoons but for me watching games at Leichhardt is better on a sunny Sunday afternoon being at the ground in those conditions is a great atmosphere but that is my preference it is not an expectation as I know that will never happen. As for supporting Manly, that will never happen I would prefer to give the game away. Don't bother telling me what my expectations should be nor who I should support just because I have a different opinion to you.
 
Two games out of 8 each week only day games 25%
8 games @ CS & LO out of 24 weeks 33%
Not good odds, doesnt bother me.

Settle down, just using an extreme example to make a point. This discussion comes up every year and it is boring.9 and fox determine the match allocations and their decision is based on which matches will rate the best.
 
Some clubs like brisbane play alot of friday games and personally i dont think it fair getting 7 days rest almost every week where otherclubs play all different days and times.

Wasn't expecting to have 8-12 Home 'Day' Games, just really love the atmosphere in the day esp. at Leich. Was pretty sure i went to atleast 3-4 home day games between Leich. & Campb last season, but i could be wrong. Just seemed to be a big diff. from 2010\. Not Boring, but then again i suppose people don't need to read it plus reply if they feel that way?!

sorry but that is such a tired excuse…look at the crowds the AFL gets on a Saturday afternoon they're crowds don't suffer...and i'm sure there are a lot of kids attending who have played footy that morning
