Lack of quality assistants

We definitely need some youth and fresh ideas. Not just for the sake of it though. We did have Webster and he didn't seem to do much for us. But the game has changed a lot and the guys we have are all grumpy old men that don't seem to be able to connect with our players.

Magpie coach Gardiner seems to come accross as a good style of a bloke and he must be able to coach 7 wins in a row and from interview after the Bears game the players like him definitely a NRL coach in waiting

Maybe Madge can coach KOE Cup.
Use his sus army drill sergeant stuff to get the young guys fit and ready for grade.

The KOE coach can take over FG, bring in Johnny Morris as assistant, bit if FG experience to help.

The perfect solution, but i doubt Madge would agree.
