Lame Membership Numbers - Whats the fix?

Re memberships

@NothingButWT @princeofchios @Wests_Tigers news on that as well. Things are not as they seem

He then said we are busier than last year??? I get the feeling this is to do with the NRL WIDE slowdown in membership numbers at a time they should be sky rocketing. We were up 15% as a while around Xmas and now barely matching 2013 as a comp… Very strange

Tigers got 3k in the last week or two before the season but we got less than 1k this year despite trial wins

Something going on maybe

I signed up for the claws membership because it was so cheap. I haven't been a member since I was a concession ticket 13 years. I feel that, up until this year, membership has been too dear (particularly for the big stadiums which don't get near capacity), so I want to support the club's efforts to make membership more affordable. It is a shame it hasn't been particularly successful in raising membership numbers. I don't really like ANZ, but I try to get to most games and I only need to go to a couple games to make it worthwhile. I think the club has done what it can to raise numbers with this package, so well done to them.

I renewed in November and still haven't received my pack. Club assures me it will arrive this week and says it was a Ticketek stuff up.

Last year, my mate did not receive his ticket until round 3 due to a stuff up.

Doesn't seem very well organised.

It has never been well organised. The membership team should have extra staff at this time to make sure the membership packs arrive.

I am still waiting for mine but I only renewed 3 weeks ago. Are they being sent by post this year?

I must be one of the lucky ones
- signed up for the family Gold Claws at CSS, every arrived weeks ago.
Rang the club on Monday to buy the Gold Claws at ANZ, was told I'd have to collect my tickets for the saints game on the day at the stadium. Then on Tuesday I received an text message asking if I was attending the Saints game on Sunday and to reply by text if I was. To my surprise the tickets arrived in the mail today.
Can't complain about that !

Looks like I will be standing in a queue (hopefully not a long one) at the membership tent on Sunday.

Dispatch notification more than a week ago, general emails from the club, phone call as advised, confirmation email and a final wait. Plenty of contact, but no kits or more importantly, no tickets. I am old enough to appreciate just how quick things in general are nowadays as patience was necessary when I was growing up.

I also understand the initial delays in getting kits out prior to Xmas as overseas production has to be finalised, then shipped over here etc before anything can be sent out. A mate who joined up, when I renewed a few weeks ago is in the same boat, nothing. Not good enough WT, especially in an age when you can expect to receive something sent from some third world backwater well within in that timeframe, and an interstate letter next day.

They were certainly doing their utmost to have everyone be aware of the memberships at the Bunnies game!

I just joined up….got me a Leichhardt Oval bronze pack...the way they played on Friday night inspired me....so proud to support a bunch of guys with tickers like that.....

Carn tigers.

playing with a lot heart like they did against the bunnies will help. if they can win against the warriors and can turn it up again against manly, look out..

They still need to fix the sign-up website, has been broken for 3 weeks now for a lot of people.

I got my membership done over the phone but it could turn a lot of people away if they go and try to sign up but encounter the same stupid issues that I had.

fix the internal crap, and get players signed so we don't have to think that we will lose our best players, sign some real talent and the membership will come in droves. A lot of people think are club is just a basket case, and the way its been run prior says it all. Fix the backyard up and people will come. Its not rocket science.

8,500 now i believe happy? not updated on the site, but that's from the tiger's twitter page.

should hit 9000 comfortably before the leichardt game. not bad considering our numbers last year were very dodgy which mayer alluded to when he said we were busier this year than last. comparing apples with apples.

Wests Tigers' Round 7 match against the Parramatta Eels on Easter Monday will be the last chance that Wests Tigers fans have to secure their $50 ANZ membership.
>
The $50 membership — which provides access to ALL Wests Tigers games at ANZ Stadium in 2014 — has proven to be incredibly popular so far this year, but will cease to exist after Monday's match against the Parramatta Eels at 4:00pm AEST.
>
The Club encourages all fans to take advantage of this great offer and gain entry to the six remaining games that they will play at the venue in 2014 (both home and away).
>
Click here get your $50 ANZ membership this year and never miss a game!

Including Monday's Round 7 clash, Wests Tigers have six games remaining at ANZ Stadium this year, with their opponents and dates as follows:
>
Round 7 — Monday, April 21 at 4:00pm vs. Parramatta Eels

Round 19 — Sunday, July 20 at 3:00pm vs. Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs
Round 20 — Sunday, July 27 at 3:00pm vs. St. George-Illawarra Dragons
Round 23 — Date TBC vs. Sydney Roosters
Round 24 — Date TBC vs. Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs

$50 for six games equates to just $8.33 per game!
>
The Gold and Silver ANZ-based membership packages will continue to run throughout the year, but the Brozne offer (for just $50) will cease to exist after Monday's match.

Not sure on the logic of this. We can't be anywhere near selling out GA at the ground. If people won't spend $50 for 6 games, they are not going to spend more for less. Looks like an idle threat to me…

9,400 according to Grant Mayer on Twitter.

I have also read on league unlimited or here that we included approx 3k in Junior memberships last year which aren't including this year. Not sure how much truth to this there is, but if so we have increased by 600 / 700 odd.
