Lame Membership Numbers - Whats the fix?

Start treating existing members with a bit of respect and they will return year on year. Forgetting them and showing all loyalty to non members then they will think twice.

Spending a lot of money for a family of 6 for Gold memberships is not a small decision. Sitting in my seats surrounded by opposition fans is frustrating. Seeing cut price deal after cut price deal for new members is frustrating.

The membership dept at the club is just shocking and by far the worst customer service experience I have suffered. Yes it is far worse than it has EVER been. Yes I have again joined as I love the club and want to support the team. But again they have my money so the service has dropped off. The organization in a simple process of getting member packs out is woeful. We have dropped from a full 12 game membership to 4 games & I can tell you regardless of the teams performance I am seriously considering not bothering at all next year. I get a not worse experience buying game by game.

I understand your issue with the pack distribution, however, as your words are very strong, what was your problem with the staff, were they abusive?

Whilst I have only joined online previously, I got a mate to join up as families this year and rang them so we could get clustered seating. The two ladies that we dealt with we're courteous, professional and accommodating.

I have never had a problem with staff.

They have always been helpful and professional.

I do believe it needs an overhaul with better structures and policies in place.

They asked me Yesterday if my Daughter & i wanted a Membership package, I had already purchased two Membership packages well before Xmas, They dont know whats going on.

I'm still waiting for my package which I paid for back on October. Totally inept after 2 attempts up get it delivered. The membership department might polite but other than that it's always hard work. It's not the fist year I've had problems.

Renewing every year is always a pain, it would be nice if just one year the process went by without any mistakes being made.

I can honestly say Ive never had a problem in 6 years of being a member…one of the lucky ones

I think they start rolling renewals from next year where unless you contact them, want out or want to change....you remain a member and theres no need to do anything.

Unsure how it all works exactly

You really must be lucky, every year I have had problems. From passes not arriving until after the 1st game to double booking my seats, I don't think I have had a year without a problem. This year was partially my fault as I rang to change my package to a family pack after I had already submitted my membership. The problem arose when they didn't process this change.
They tried their best to resolve the situation though.

Excuse me, but I asked this earlier and was hoping someone might reply.

I received a couple of Dispatch Notification emails yesterday evening regarding the family's member packs. For those that have already got your kits, just wondering what the general timetable to actual delivery from this years couriers has been?

Thanks.

well it's official.

tiger's currently have the LOWEST membership numbers for 2014 from any team. the eels have doubled us, raiders are also beating us. pretty disappointed, for a team with 180k likes on facebook and that rated pretty well in 2011-12, 6k members is shocking.

can't fault the club, they've tried very hard. still room for improvement but it's really up to the fans whether they actually support the club or benji when he's on.

One way to help improve might be to fix their damn website…

Tried about 10 times over the course of 3 days to sign up as a member through the website and just got error messages, tried on my home computer and my work computer and using different browsers and still no luck.

Rang the club on Friday hoping to do it over the phone, couldn't get an answer.

So at the moment am still not a member, will try again on Monday and if I have no luck them screw them ill just support them as a non member.

And to endure the financial stability of the club that pretty much has to be ANZ Stafium.

Where did you get the numbers from pHyR3 ??

Comparing membership numbers is a bit farcical when some times, ie: Souths, count $20 single match memberships towards their tally…

Good luck to them. A member is a member regardless of the amount of games.

Right… :crazy

So we should just declare each person who purchases a ticket to our first home game this year as a single match member!

BAM! We go from 6,000 members to 20,000 members in one night!

NRL Membership numbers will continue to mean nothing until they are moderated by the governing body the same as the AFL memberships are.
