As good as JAC is, his potential signing underwhelms me. If you're looking to land a big name, wingers should be the last ones you look at.

Say hi to Parramatta and their biggest signing for 2019 ‘Blake Ferguson’

Wasn't pascoe unfortunately. It was the new chair that had us splashed all over the media.

Hopefully he takes this as a lesson.

Yes, a good point for new chair to think about.

Looks like he's a Tiger Tragic also, no foul there:grinning:

Well then. That seems fair enough

Glad it's over one way or another

You realise, it's not over though right? Not until he signs with someone or signals his intent to stay at the Roosters in 2020.

He could still very easily sign with us tomorrow.

Dream on

He's won GF's, won SOO and played for Australia and he is fast as lightening, plus he scores lots of tries, what more do you want from a player.

And he loves the WT's?

Not being rude but how far did he get them or even how far did Semi R get them

do you really think that the club with over a $million CAP space hasn’t a contingency plan?

Honestly, I don't believe we have a contingency plan.

Already been reported on nrl.com that we're now in for JAC.

We are always in for someone top clubs attract top flight players unlike us who only attract plodders

ummm....from the wooden spoon (2018) to a win outside the top 4 (2019).

What's the point? Don't try because you might fail? Good one for the kids out there...

Agreed. The new Chair (wish he had an easier to spell/remember name) did a great job. Sold the club to LM and the media and was positive and proactive. Didnt work but he had a crack. Thats what I want from the guy.

We released Matterson and Marsters early and now our best hope is to POSSIBLY sign Luciano Leilua and Zane Musgrove. I think this leaves us with a weaker squad than 2019. Paying $2000 for Season Tickets to NOT make the Semis again is a decision that will haunt me

Luciano is 100% with us, all pieces are falling in place and the Pom confirmed it

But we were told "We won't be releasing Matterson early unless it benefits Wests Tigers" we've negatively impacted our squad by releasing him BEFORE we had a better player secured.

why would pascoe publicly go out and say we aren't interested anymore? just sounds stupid...

Because it's the truth and it might wake the silly little bugger and his management up to realise the world and the NRL do not revole around him and now we can see why Freddie showed him the door.

It benefited us by not having to pay him a cent from his 2020 contract when we did...meanwhile the Rorters are paying Mitchell 14K a week to go fishing

At last, the CLOWN has been shot out of a canon!
Probably over at Mundine’s house now trying on some gloves - immature twat!

I think that’s harsh Tony. If you read The Pom’s explanation of events it seemed Latrell handled himself admirably. His manager Seems to be the twat

That makes zero sense, Maybe I'm missing something.

Wests had a player who was worth ~ double what they were playing him but had a contract. That's sports. They did not have to release him but if they did, they would want market value for him, not what his contract was for.

So no, they didn't save 350 from 2020, they lost a 600+k player they were paying 350k for. That 350k will mean sweet FA in the cap situation and that move has greatly weakened the team.

I'm still at a loss to know what Wests got from the "deal". Apart from shafted. again. By poor management. Again.

A player that didn't want to be here..that always works well..it allowed us to go in the market for Luciano Leulia
