I don't trust this pre event reporting at all. It is all click bait until it's official. No one's in LM's head, let alone his manager's.

It's nice to be in the mix and that's a positive but until it's official remember that hopes have been raised before.

Mystery prop is the first one I remember, 48 hours and WTF the most recent.

Wouldn't expect anything today, even if a contract is signed in Taree, as late Friday is normally the time that stuff not wanted to be highlighted is released.

I know the club is probably gun shy signing lengthy deals given Packer and Reynolds were signed to 4 years, as did Mbye, but players like Mitchell, you give him 4 years. Anything less is too short. Its important to lock him down for as long as possible, because next time his contract is up, it won't be like this time where clubs can't fit him in. He'll have half a dozen after him. Give him 4 years.

@Chaos name one ? Seriously , name one ? That’s actually available, can cover multiple positions, is captaincy material , and is an origin player (regardless of your opinion of it’s merit) . I saw someone in another forum call him a pea heart , which is for one , not true , and two absolutely disgusting .
I’m sorry but he killed it in the 3 last year . Putting on hits , the edge looked strong , there was another dynamic to the attack as if the ball got to the 3, unlike a lot of centres , if the half was out of the play , the play was still on.
But yea , let’s get rid of him to sign Jesse Ramien , types , with bad character , rather than a guy who could be a tigers legend , if we just left him alone to grow in a role .
Because hot tip , the guy is pretty freaking good already .
