Tedesco didnt pass the ballbecause of his own choice as well as the game plan. By the time he took the pass on the sweep he was 10 metres from the sideline. Our halves floated sideways and gave no chance to the outside. How different is Tedesco when he can roam accross thefield.

Let's be realistic though. When he chimes in at the chooks, there is usually a Manu or Mitchell as an option alongside him, so the defence has to cover both, which often leaves space.

I’m anxious about Mitchell because it would be huge for us. I’m confident in current coach and management but am frustrated by past recruiting efforts. I think most of us (except Willow who’s sleeping like a baby apparently😀) are all feeling the same!

Everyone knows i dislike Taylor. That said yeah id blame him. Cronk and Tedesco only started working for the Roosters once Taylor was demoted out of the place.

The block play he ran was out of fashion and easily read by top teams.

I don't support JT - I wasn't even replying to you - I was replying to some poster who suggested Turdesco didn't pass the ball because of JT. That's an absolutely ridiculous assumption. Then you turn that stupid assumption in to a truth. What you're suggesting is that the guy who is rated the best player in the world didn't pass the ball because JT told him not to. Righto.

Not really what i said. I mean Tedesco was great for us but his post Taylor roosters form is where he became the best player in the world. Not the predictable block plays he ran for us. And i wasnt implying you were a Taylor supporter, just saying that my opinion of the guy has little relevance to what others think of him. The Roosters punted him when they released he had very little to offer the modern game..

Yeah none of us are perfect, we all have our favourites and players we are more critical of. My issue is the negativity and lack of faith from our fan base. It seems to comes from years of struggle. Not to mention that most of our fans are blue collar and dont really like high profile 'ego" type players.

I just see half our fans hating this guy because they dont think he suits our supposed culture. News to them our culture is trash and we would be so lucky to have a guy like Mitchell play for us.

Well you got no argument with me. Maybe we’re just at that awkward growing stage - going from a moth to a butterfly so to speak. I do think we are developing a winners mindset. Let’s hope good players see that and want to be part of it.

Absolutely! Would love to have Mitchell onboard, just not real sure he actually wants to come here.

Guess my argument is this

We have had some superstar backs since 2011

But as I stated in another post , when have we had the forwards like Keefy ,Payten , Dwyer ,Ellis, Fifita , Woods ,Fulton ,Gibbs and BMM as we did in 2010-2011

Its no coincidence we haven't had a finals appearance since then

Latrell will make a difference yes , but if we don't have a quality forward pack like we did in those years finals won't be a reality and a premiership might as well be another solar system away

Totally agree , and that's why the steps we take in the next 16 months are so critical to the long term future of the club

Every time I start thinking oh we need to give latrell a dead line to sign I just jump on YouTube and watch his highlights and think we need to do everthing possible to get this bloke to our club haha his highlight package is insane
