@Roar_Power No problem, sorry about the misunderstanding. I live not far from Benji who lives at Breakfast Point. His home has a beautiful view overlooking the bay there. He has lived in the area for over ten years.

@balmain-boy No more like a 4 year old :eyes: ... You have more patience than me 100%, because after 8 years of rubbish I am just sick of it..

We've heard talk for YEARS about Latrell wanting to play fullback.
Obviously he can't at the roosters because Tedesco is the best.
if he wants a #1 jersey ... guess what ... it's his for the taking at WESTS TIGERS.

He's been a good player in a great team at the roosters, full of stars.
At the tigers he can be the STAR PLAYER... pretty enticing.

I hope he makes the right decision.

If he goes to NQ, Okay... Hello Scott Drinkwater.

@innsaneink use your imagination

You expressed an opinion and didn't elaborate.... I can use my imagination but that doesnt help us discuss your opinion

I think that is part of the problem at the Roosters, his frequent trips home was an issue. Remember he went to Taree after origin 1 instead of returning to Sydney with the rest of the squad. It was discussed at the time whether or not the Roosters knew he was returning home.

@cochise He will want to be able to go to taree regardless of the team he is on.
I do think he will make that clear throughout negotiations.

Have been given mail from a contact who is close to the action and whose mail is spot on 99% of the time…

Mitchell to Tigers…it’s done

He said he was told today…would make sense if true as training starts Monday!! Wishful thinking perhaps?

@Chaos And to my mind you make allowances for that to happen. I do think kinship is incredibly important to indigenous players and you have to give them space to accommodate it.

Agreed was just replying to ink who said this wasn't an issue at the Roosters. Being a country boy myself I can understand the desire for him to head home. I don't think Madge would have a massive problem providing him with the opportunity to get a couple of days at Taree a month. He allowed Robbie to head to Europe to watch a soccer game so a guy wanting to return up home to see family shouldn't be an issue.

@weststigers

Does that pump up your confident levels of this happening?

I take it all with a grain of salt until the club announces it.

There are people who are patient, people that like to speculate and there are people who are refreshing the page every 5 seconds because they are stinging for any news on the topic.

It was sent to me and I shared it for the speculators and the impatient ones...but the guy is usually spot on...doesn't say much unless it's on the money...

I really hope this is so.

@weststigers fingers crossed as he will be a massive boost for our struggling club.

If we do sign him, it also means we can start making moves on other players with the remainder of our cap.

If we can improve the team with a winger and a forward, then we'll be up there for top 6 imho

@Demps mate I reckon Drinkwater is a great player and half the price if LM didn’t sign. Not the same x-factor but would have the money to strengthen another position.
