He would be a great signing for us but not at the expense of our integrity. The Cowboys used him as a pawn to get Holmes moving and Latrell has copped a sucker punch over his perceived popularity.
We made him a great offer, he’s on the nose at the Roosters so he value is diminishing by the minute yet he parades himself around ...ala Matterson style.
My thoughts are that he’s not keen on coming to the Tigers but he will sign with us as the money is overwhelming and we’ve publicly shown how desperate we are to roll out the red carpet for him.
No doubt the Bulldogs are trying to back door us again and their secret service agents have been dispatched into the field.
I can’t see Maguire putting up with the shenanigans much longer.

The guy has only been looking at what's available to him for a few weeks and told by the Roosters on 5th November their preference is that he moves on a year early. That's under 3 weeks to sort out a move 12 months early. Just finished footy for the year after playing for Aus and has spent time fighting bushfires before taking a week holiday with his family.
I'm not sure how taking a few weeks to sort out your future taking the above into account makes him a clown.
As mentioned by his manager, we've met with Latrell in Taree and they are both due to come in and meet at Concord sometime this week. I'm sure it will all be finalised then if he decides to go with us
